Legs vs. Lungs?
In middle duration efforts 5-20 minutes, I’m curious to hear what typically gives our first for you all, legs or lungs? I find my legs starting to complain while my breathing is still very under control. Wondering if this may be a fueling problem? Thanks in advance!

Few of us out this morning. Had fog, rain, wind and sunshine. All we were missing was the snow! East Galway / Athlone.
Weekly wins?🏆
What was the biggest win you had this week? I’m still rehabbing a shoulder injury. The temptation is to chill on everything but I’m staying focused on diet and controlling what I can control.

Finally got in some sprints on the Sunday Club spin. First time sprinting on the road after the sprint block. New PB for 5 seconds, and PB for max power. Sprints are defo easier on the road than the trainer 💪
Daily accountability
5hrs done on the indoor trainer due to flooding and high winds 😵😵‍💫 How did you guys get on today?

Some going for 5 hours! Wind and rain was brutal out there today!
FTP test
Tomorrow I am going to do my first ever FTP test as part of the onboarding with Matthew and Anthony. Matthew gave me a power range to aim for. I feel like I am going to mess it up 😁. Should I aim to be conservative? All advice welcome!

I'm sure everyone has there own way they break it down, but I do it in 5 minute intervals, just keep telling myself 5 more mins to go. Defo don't go out too hard, you will regret it when the clock hits 10 mins. I hadn't a clue what power was considered high or low before my first FTP, which worked in my favour, as I wasn't chasing numbers during the test. It's not a competition, the final number achieved is so that your training schedule can be set up around your ability.
