It was Christmas week folks and I know a lot of us feel guilty about eating too much and not moving enough but instead of focusing on what we did wrong, lets focus on what we can be proud of. What wins did you have this week? For me I was really happy not to miss a session. I'd plenty of imperfect sessions where I'd slept poorly or had a busy schedule - i'd loads of reasons to skip but rolled my sleeves up. Proud to get through with 100% compliance. 💪

Sprint PR
I just noticed Anthony recommended we share our wins, so here goes. I was 🤯 to set a lifetime PR for my 5 and 12 second power during my power profile test: 5 seconds: 1393 12 seconds: 1126 I’ve been feeling pretty down about my ftp numbers this season. I’ve spent a lot of this year rehabbing my back and knee… sadly still an on going process. Making this win a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to seeing if I can do better after actually doing a sprint block of training 🤠

I can't believe it's been a month already since we started building this community. The leaderboard shows who's been most active with comments and contributions for the past month. Congrats to @Alex Omar for topping the leaderboard. As a small gesture i'm going to arrange a 45 minute deep dive call to help accelerate his progress. Thanks for everyone in this little community, it feels like we're at the beginning stages of something very special.

Trust the Process
Folks here's some real world results that Ive personally experienced from "Trusting the Process". Let have some context for the below. Year on year, you see the increase in my FTP (Functional Threshold Power) from following structured training plans. You'll also see progress from training block to training block You'll notice 2023 and 2024 are missing results from some of the training blocks. In 2023, I got sick and had issue which my lungs and heart. It basically destroyed my season. Eventually I got going again mid summer of that year. Then I managed to herniate discs in my lower back, trying to get back to racing by not following the plan and going over the top with training load and intensity. The back injury lingered through the winter and into the 2024 season so I didn't really gect to has a good winter of training prior the season hence the missing data for 2024.
