Hi everyone. December’s new content is LIVE, and I’m genuinely excited for you to dive into it. A few dishes you absolutely need to try: Roasted Butternut Squash with Maple Thyme Filling. This one is seriously delicious, so consider this your warning 🤩 I’m adding it to our family’s Christmas Eve salmon meal because it’s that good. Miso Maple Carrots. These are making an appearance at our Christmas Day dinner. Sticky, glossy, salty-sweet… they’re everything a good side dish should be. Brussels + Apple Slaw. Don’t even get me started. Perfect with leftover turkey, and YES, it has prosciutto. The sweet–salty combo is unreal. The theme this month has been more around sweet/salty combos! I’ve also added a mix of appetisers, sides, and comforting dishes this month because, let’s be honest… it’s December. 🌟 Holidays are part of life. 🌟 Food is part of life. 🌟 And I want us all to head into the season without that old restriction mindset. We’re not trying to “be good.” We’re trying to live our lives, enjoy the celebrations, and feel supported while doing it. These recipes give you variety, satisfaction, and options, not rules. I finally got in for a few minutes and am super excited about all of the recipes. I don't see the link for the pomegranate orange kombucha but will try again later and really appreciated the article / resource on oats.
Turkey + Mushroom Bolognese over Spaghetti Squash
Tonight’s supper was a hit with all my family members. Three out of 4 of us ate it over the Squash. My 22 year old son had it over noodles. He didn’t know that there were veggies in the sauce- so this was a big win!

Pickerel Tacos with Purple Cabbage Slaw
My husband made this recipe tonight with fish we had caught at our camp. It was very tasty and easy to make. The cabbage slaw is hidden under the fish. 🐠
