Midlife Q&A: Live weekly calls is happening in 4 days
🎊January Resources + Recipes
Hi ladies! I hope your week is going well and you’re staying warm ❄️ I’ve added new recipes to the classroom for you to explore. Have a look and let us know which ones are going on your to-try list. My personal favourites this month are the Buffalo Chicken and the bright purple soup. And yes, the colour is bold, but don’t let it put you off 😄 If purple isn’t your thing, just swap the heirloom carrots for regular ones and it’ll mellow right out. That soup was actually created at a client’s request as a lighter alternative to a much-loved sausage recipe that was very high in saturated fat. Same comfort, better nutritional balance. Mission accomplished 😍 In the Resources section this month, you’ll also find practical tools to help you get more out of doctor and healthcare appointments. These are tools I’ve used myself and with clients, and they genuinely make a difference. Being organised and having information/questions written down saves time and helps your healthcare team support you more effectively, from investigations to referrals and treatment decisions. As always, jump into the comments and share what you’re trying or what’s been useful for you 💬 On my list for upcoming recipes + resources: Recipes - Slow cooker/crockpot meals - Under-30-minute dinners - Granola recipe - Easy lunch ideas - Rotisserie chicken or canned tuna meals Guides - Natural GLP-1 support - Beans & lentils (how to use them without gut issues) - Carbohydrates: which ones to prioritise - Dressings/dips/sauces - Saturated fats - I’ll add a pinned section where you can keep dropping recipe and resource ideas, so everything lives in one easy-to-find place.

December’s new content
Hi everyone. December’s new content is LIVE, and I’m genuinely excited for you to dive into it. A few dishes you absolutely need to try: Roasted Butternut Squash with Maple Thyme Filling. This one is seriously delicious, so consider this your warning 🤩 I’m adding it to our family’s Christmas Eve salmon meal because it’s that good. Miso Maple Carrots. These are making an appearance at our Christmas Day dinner. Sticky, glossy, salty-sweet… they’re everything a good side dish should be. Brussels + Apple Slaw. Don’t even get me started. Perfect with leftover turkey, and YES, it has prosciutto. The sweet–salty combo is unreal. The theme this month has been more around sweet/salty combos! I’ve also added a mix of appetisers, sides, and comforting dishes this month because, let’s be honest… it’s December. 🌟 Holidays are part of life. 🌟 Food is part of life. 🌟 And I want us all to head into the season without that old restriction mindset. We’re not trying to “be good.” We’re trying to live our lives, enjoy the celebrations, and feel supported while doing it. These recipes give you variety, satisfaction, and options, not rules. And don’t forget to check out the new Guide to Surviving Christmas. The holidays tend to crank up the “food noise,” and this guide will help you stay grounded while still enjoying what’s around you. Have a look at everything new and tell me what you’re going to make first. I love hearing what you’re cooking!
