I sat in the car park of one of the 5 gyms in my local small market town today. The roller shutter door was open so I could see the single occupant inside.
I watched him, quite a big unit, select a pair of dumbbells from the rack and perform 12 reps. He then stopped and replaced them in the rack, took a 5 minute rest interval before repeating the exercise. He then moved to the Smith machine with a
45 degree incline bench, and some strange reverse grip incline press. Im assuming he counted this as a triceps exercise.
The odd thing was, that at no time did any effort seem to be applied. He did his allotment reps and terminated the set. He looked to be in his mid 30’s, 6’3” tall, 15/16 stone is my guess. God I wished that I had his body and my knowledge. I wouldn’t be going through the motions, thats for sure.
