Updates 31 08 2026 ----- I Have Extended the Current $40 Pricing Until September 30th
I have decided to do this due to family commitments, so I don't have enough time to complete every section of the updates. I am also receiving a high number of join requests, but many are just spam - if any get through, please let me know asap. 1 - Phase 3 and Phase 2 are now both visible and have both been updated 😁 Anyone using the App may notice a small cosmetic change on the Phase 1 under-construction screens - the function is still there for now. 2 - People mentioned having a biweekly or monthly live session, which I can do, either at home or possibly at the gym. All we need is a time that suits the majority. 3 - Regarding the sessions - to make them as productive as possible, I believe it would be beneficial to have a topic list. It saves us from repeating the same information. I know some have already asked about specific exercises and topics; if you can re-add to this post, it will be easier for me to track. 4 - It will be the same with the order of importance for the classroom topics - ideally, I want them to be driven by members, not by me. 5 - Any other suggestions, please add.😁

Classroom - 314 today 08 09 in skool rankings please keep the questions and posts coming😁
I have No Idea how this works Questions and comments added every day and literally no movement at all. Not sure if the reviews make any difference? I hope you all like reading 🤣 The classroom content is already over 600 pages, and I'm only 1/3 of the way through. It may end up like War and Peace with all the info @Daniel Parker is adding - thank you. I will create summaries and add images where possible, and links to videos I have opened up 01 in the classroom. Please let me know your thoughts 02 onwards will still be locked until Sept 1st, but I will DM each member with the proposed minor changes to the actual method 😁 Yes, I have made each rep harder, but in turn more effective😮

Welcome — start here 👋
Welcome in. whwido /we-do/ is a science & experience-based strength method with one rule: You feel the muscle you're training — joints aligned, perfect form. The name means Why, How, What, I Do — and the whole aim is to make it what you do: running your own training for life, without needing me. You're free to look around. Meet the members, see what they're working on, and ask me anything in Welcome & Ask Shaun — I answer personally. The full 4-phase programme opens 1 September. You can see the whole structure in the Classroom now — it's locked until then. Join before 30 August, and it's $40/year, locked for life. From 1 September it's $15/month or $120/year. So I can actually help you, answer these three below: 1. Your situation and goal — beginner, plateaued, or training around a condition? 2. What's stopped you getting stronger before? 3. The one thing you're most unsure will work for you? Drop them in a comment and say hello — tell us who you are and what you're training for.
Split help - edited. New split started
Morning all. 2:30am wooow had a good sleep thou. gym time soon. Anyway enough of my messed up clock I’m after feedback on how best to spread out my work load. Last week I decided to do a bit more and see how I went on. I enjoyed everything and o was satisfied. Still had more in the tank and I found I didn’t push myself too hard. So my ask is. I’m looking for a split that will accommodate my running. The gym for me is a non negotiable and if something had to go it would be cardio 😭. But I also love cardio stuff and pushing myself so I want to do both. My last weeks activity is below. Do you think this is doable week in week out. 08 09 review Update now I have read both 🥴 Lyle McDonald's two new books. Here's what I found.
Reviewed September 2026. Covers the fat-loss, exercise, frequency and diet-setup chapters of both books, plus the online calculator. Added so you don't have to scroll 4b. The "fasting mimicry" claim is biochemically wrong IMO This one won't cost you muscle or fat loss. But if you bought into the idea that RFL days give you the cellular benefits of fasting, you should know the claim doesn't hold. In Chapter 11 he writes: "Fundamentally, my RFL is nothing but a ketogenic diet without the dietary fat. Which means that it generates the same basic physiological shift as with complete fasting." He's half right. RFL does deplete liver glycogen, shift you towards fat oxidation, and produce ketones. That's the metabolic switch. Fine. What it does NOT do is replicate the cellular signalling state of a true fast. The reason: he's telling you to eat 150–220 g of protein on those days. The amino acid leucine — abundant in every lean protein source he recommends — is the most potent known activator of mTORC1. And mTORC1 activation directly suppresses AMPK and shuts down autophagy (Levine & Kroemer, 2019; Alirezaei et al., 2010). Translation: the protein that protects your muscle is the same protein that prevents the cellular cleanup he's claiming you get. You cannot have both simultaneously. Does this matter practically? For his stated goals — fat loss without muscle loss, training support — no. The RFL day works brilliantly for those. But if you were banking on autophagy, mitophagy, or the hormetic stress-response benefits that the fasting literature discusses, an RFL day will not deliver them. You'd need actual amino-acid deprivation for that, which is the opposite of what he prescribes. He also dismisses Longo's Fasting Mimicking Diet as "nonsensical" while running what is functionally a modified fasting-mimicking approach himself — just with the right macronutrient (protein) instead of the wrong ones (carb/fat). The dismissal is ironic and the physiological claim needs a qualifier.
