I tried to sprout chia seeds, but they just ended up molding. I’ve been successfully sprouting lentils every week for a while now, so I wanted to sprout chia seeds as well, especially since I’ve heard that some samurai could fight an entire day with just one or two tablespoons of chia seeds.
I first tried using a mason jar, but the water couldn’t even drain through the mesh lid because the seeds turned into a jelly-like mass.
Then I tried using a Tupperware container with a paper towel at the bottom to keep humidity. Some seeds started to sprout, but they began to mold as well.
Does anyone know the most effective and easy way to successfully sprout chia seeds?
