Here’s what I wish I knew when I first started my vegan fitness journey 18 years ago…
1: Nailing my nutrition was key in me achieving the physique that you see today. So many vegans neglect their nutrition and their go-to protein sources are beans, nuts, peanut butter, seeds, when in reality, those are all carb or fat sources - NOT main sources of plant-protein. Main sources of plant protein include: Tofu, tempeh, TVP, seitan, soy curls, etc. Don’t get me wrong, you can still have nuts, beans, seeds, etc, but structure those in your meals as either carb or fat sources and add a main source of plant-protein per meal. 2: Lock in on your training. Train until failure. Progress overload each week. Control the weight. Slow your tempo. These are all the things that helped me improve my training to maximize my results in the gym. 🌱💪 If you're looking for more vegan training and nutrition tips, I share tutorials and practical advice regularly on my YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/@BodybuildingVeganTV

“Plant Protein isn’t bioavailable” Myth DEBUNKED…
It’s time to stop spreading misinformation about plant protein and to tell the truth. People often think that if you’re plant-based, you need to constantly supplement with EAAS and BCAAS, but in reality, that’s not the truth. The truth is that ALL plants contain protein, and all have different amino acid profiles, meaning you don’t have to worry about it if you’re eating a variety of plants and not just beans all day. The key is to eat a variety of plants to ensure that you’re optimizing your protein for the muscle building results that you want - You do not need to combine all your amino acids in a single meal. Eating a diverse mix of plants throughout the day provides a complete amino acid profile. If you need more High-Protein VEGAN Meal Ideas, you can get the recipes that I’ve curated over 18 years as a VEGAN bodybuilder that helped me build the physique that you see today here 🌱💪👇 https://vegansquadcoaching.com/cookbook

WHY did I come back just to disappear again? 😐
Hello everybody lovely people 🥰 And so the answer to that question 🤭 No no no I absolutely lovit here! I LOVE YOU GUYS 🤗 and missed you all so much 🥹 And no not another depression thank God for that. Just that I found out not long after I came back in here that I CAN move now and needed to start with the process of looking for a place. So got bz seeing numerous homes FINALLY found a home (whew 😥 Not easy doing this all by yourself.) Lots of move out paperwork 🥵 THEN I had to research what organization out there can help me with my 1st month deposit (finally found it but haven’t gotten it yet NOT until next week as they said it’sa process) meanwhile finding boxes, packing and not done yet but ALMOST there. Oh and the place I’m moving to has a huge weight room LOTS of exercise equipment I NEED THAT because I only have 5lb weights 😁😆 and can’t afford to buy higher weights. BUT… I’m worried that I’ll be too lazy to go to the weight room to exercise since I got used to exercising at home 🤦🏽‍♀️ Good news is that this place this forum THIS home of ours ahem talking about this site im blogging in YES Vegan Squad Community we have in here staff that absolutely LOVE to help us when we we need such help and after I get moved in and well finally settled in comfortably I’m begging you please please please please PLEASE someone or many of you Idc PLEASE motivate me 🙏🏽 to go out of my comfort zone to exercise please do what you need to do push me come over and carry me to the gym (😆) IDC I seriously need your help with that 😣

@Gretchen Eidson thx for the feedback and advise 😊 The problem is that I got used to exercising at home in the morning after brushing my teeth and eating an apple or two or a banana sometimes a bloody orange 🍊 and take my shower afterwards. Changing that routine to me will be hard 🤦🏽‍♀️
Struggling
Hello everyone iv been struggling a lot with energy, drive and mood. Win: iv recently in the last month gone of all my depression meds but from what my Dr said and the things I’ve read online im going through with drawl. When I first became vegan I had no depression because of TMS treatments and my new vegan lifestyle for the first time in my life I wasn’t depressed:) but ever since iv gone of my meds I feel like the depression is back. Has anyone ever struggled with this? Iv been tracking my mood but I’m really struggling.
