@Jordan Siegel Vegan Bodybuilding With Cancer it does add a nice taste! I started taking it some months ago in my banana shakes. I didn't take any b12 for probably 5 years and felt nothing wrong. Then lots of people say how important it is, so I tried, I see no difference. At the momment I continu to use it, yet I wonder If we truly need it or if it's another story of the system, who knows 🌌😌
How to sprout chia seeds?
I tried to sprout chia seeds, but they just ended up molding. I’ve been successfully sprouting lentils every week for a while now, so I wanted to sprout chia seeds as well, especially since I’ve heard that some samurai could fight an entire day with just one or two tablespoons of chia seeds. I first tried using a mason jar, but the water couldn’t even drain through the mesh lid because the seeds turned into a jelly-like mass. Then I tried using a Tupperware container with a paper towel at the bottom to keep humidity. Some seeds started to sprout, but they began to mold as well. Does anyone know the most effective and easy way to successfully sprout chia seeds?

@Vicky Nelson Those sprouted lentils I eat kind of feel like eating metal as a plant, it feels pretty powerful!
A reminder to stretch and use basic logic / awareness.
Recently, I added weight to my flyes and started doing 57.5-lb flyes (plus the weight of the dumbell bar) with a very slow negative, lowering the weight over a count of twelve. When I reached the fifth rep, there was no muscular failure yet, but I felt a strange sensation that was clearly not normal. It felt as if a part of my chest had become hard and was no longer willing to stretch. Being aware of this, I stopped immediately and moved on to the next exercise. For the next week and a half before my following chest workout, I stretched my pecs daily for a few minutes. Today, I did flyes again, and everything felt good. This is a gentle reminder to stay aware of the sensations in your body. And beyond awareness, take action to fix any issue as soon as it appears. Bodybuilding carries risks, and if we want to continue doing it for the long term, we must approach it intelligently, patiently, and with caution.

@Vicky Nelson Exactly! doing it only when it hurt is not the way, we should make sure to at least do 10 minutes of yoga, stretching, mobility for 4 to 5 times a week minimum. Or else we will regret it. Muscle won't save the geometry of our body 🌌🧘
Eat less - Gain more?
You can eat less and still gain more. That’s something I’ve been working on recently by approaching my nutrition in a more efficient way. I realized that the reason people think they need so much protein, iron, and everything else is often because their nutrition is inefficient. Their diet is filled with foods that contain anti-nutrient absorption factors, which forces the body to need much more than it should. Some people also eat too much cooked food—most cooked food is basically half-dead food. Others eat too often, which leads to poor assimilation. And on top of that, lack of mental balance, stress, and low states of being are well known to reduce absorption of whatever we eat. Here are some simple changes that allowed me to require less food and still grow muscle, without compromising my health through force-feeding: – avoiding acidic foods and focusing on alkaline – intermittent fasting, 16 hours daily – eating two meals a day, no snacking in between – avoiding coffee – eating mostly raw (the only things I cook for my main nutrition are plantain and tofu) Does this sound like controversial woo-woo to you, or do you connect with the message?

@Jordan Siegel Vegan Bodybuilding With Cancer many have proven it to be compatible, and to my side, my muscles are growing and im getting stronger with my current nutrition. So i'm sure you can do it. it's all about doing it right, finding the perfect formula of basic nutrition, resting days, and proper training!
Lifting Principle
One lifting principle I live by now: consistency beats intensity. Small actions, repeated daily, quietly outperform extremes every time. When I used to binge eat, to try and diminish the harm I did to my body, I would over exercise till the point of exhaustion, and I would restrict calories severely. This only caused further binge episodes. What lifting principles do you take into your workouts and into your life?! šŸ‘‡

In my workouts, my main principle is that I must absolutely do more reps than in the previous workout. I cannot accept two workouts with the same number of reps or the same weight. The second principle is that I never train two days in a row, due to the systemic effects that occur beyond just the specific muscles being worked. I make sure to allow enough rest days for full recovery. These two principles are what finally allowed me to make real progress.
