🌍 5 Years Ago I Started… Here’s What Actually Changed
I said yes to a client…
And if I’m being real, I had no business saying yes at that level yet.
I didn’t fully know how I was going to deliver. I didn’t have systems. I didn’t have a team.
But I had conviction.
So I figured it out.
I’d get off a sales call and then spend HOURS (most times all night) learning, building, testing, just to make sure I could actually deliver on what I promised.
That was my first year.
And looking back, it was messy… but it built something in me.
It taught me how to move without waiting to feel ready.
A couple years later… things looked “better” on the outside.
More clients. More deals. More money coming in.
But behind the scenes?
It was chaos.
Everything depended on me.
If I slowed down, everything slowed down.
If I missed something, things broke.
I remember thinking…“This isn’t freedom. This is pressure.”
That’s when I started taking systems seriously.
I began documenting everything.
Automating what I could.
Building processes so things didn’t rely on me remembering everything.
Same thing happened with WRLD Acquisitions.
Closing one deal is exciting…but closing consistently?
That takes legitmate structure and a system.
That phase changed everything.
Now, where I’m at today feels different again.
It’s less about “How much can I do?” and more about “What can I be doing to create more impact?”
Because I’ve taken calls that paid well… but drained me.
Built things that worked… but didn’t feel aligned.
And that’s a different kind of cost.
So, now I move differently.
I’m more intentional with:
• Who I work with
• What I say yes to
• Where my energy goes
Because I’ve learned the hard way that growth without alignment eventually burns you out.
If I had to simplify everything I’ve learned into one path, it would be this:
Year 1 — I learned how to move
Year 3 — I learned how to build
Year 5 — I learned how to choose
And the truth is…
NONE of those lessons came from a course.
They came from being in it.
Making mistakes.
Adjusting.
Keeping going.
If you’re in the messy stage right now, you’re not behind.
You’re building the version of yourself that can actually handle what you’re asking for.
