Friday the 13th
Happy Friday the 13th everyone.
For some its an unlucky day, for some they're planning on getting lucky for valentines day (more on that day tomorrow).
Friday the 13th isn’t unlucky. It’s powerful feminine energy. 🌙
Before patriarchy turned it into something to fear, Friday the 13th was deeply symbolic.
Friday is ruled by Venus — the archetype of love, beauty, pleasure, self-worth and feminine magnetism.
And 13 represents the sacred feminine cycle:
• 13 lunar cycles in a year
• Roughly 13 menstrual cycles
• The rhythm of death and rebirth
This day carries cyclical, intuitive, body-led energy.
So instead of bracing…What if we softened?
For those of us healing trauma, recovering from toxic relationships, or rewiring survival patterns — this is powerful symbolism.
Because feminine energy isn’t weakness. Its safety. Its receptivity. Its coming out of fight, flight and hyper-control…And returning to the body.
Today could be a day to:
✨ Set intentions around self-worth
✨ Release old relationship patterns
✨ Journal on what you desire (not just what you tolerate)
✨ Take a ritual bath or slow walk
✨ Place your hand on your heart and breathe
No hustle. No chasing. Just being. Just devotion to self.
Friday the 13th is divine.
