Hey everyone, I just joined this community because I’ve been interested in understanding how the nervous system affects growth.
One thing I’ve noticed personally is this: Sometimes you know what you should do to improve your life, but something still holds you back. Almost like your body isn't cooperating with your goals.
That’s what made me curious about somatic practices like breathwork and nervous system regulation.
Since many of you have more experience here, I wanted to ask:
What was the first real change you noticed after practicing somatic work? Did you notice:
• Less anxiety?
• Better emotional control?
• More confidence?
• Feeling calmer in stressful situations?
I’d really love to learn from people who are already practicing.
