Walking and Qigong
I have always been a walker. I usually do 3-4 miles each day with some fairly significant elevation changes. I found that as I got older the elevation changes did make me pant increasingly more. I started over the last two weeks to work some of the Qigong breathing elements into the my walking using my arms to help pace the inhale and exhale timing on the inclines. Over the last couple of days I have noticed that by breathing is becoming slightly slower on the steep grades. I am hopeful and optimistic that this will help me to get into a more relaxed place with the more challenging walks. Thanks Sonny!
