well my dear friends, as you know how open i’ve been about my struggles before, it’s now time. been waiting for this far too long but with a new year in full swing… …it’s time for me to rebuild my life officially. i’ve been able to make great progress and started laying out my proper foundation, but now it’s time i started to add to it. while admittedly, these years have been difficult for me, i’ve lost all semblances of my old life, i don’t look at it negatively anymore. rather i see it as a phase of burning and self destruction, to make room for something bigger. ive had my phase of the dark ages, now its time for a renaissance. a rebirth and a rebuild, to claim back what i’ve lost and build it into something more. this will be a long rebuild in all directions, in my personal faith and religion, my physical ability, my style and appearance, and my mental capabilities, which include my creative and rational mind put together. so far i’ve put together a good list of the stuff i want to start learning and reading: while im aware this is a secular community, this first section is for my fellow followers of Christ, although anyone else is welcome to read it too :) Firstly, i’m going to be studying the Bible much more deeply and frequently now, as well as studying its original language meanings. the chapters i’m reading though: Genesis 1-3 Exodus 25-31 1 Kings 6-8 Psalms Proverbs 8 Ecclesiastes Ezekiel 40-48 John 1 Revelation 21-22 the primary reasons i picked these sections is because they tie deeply into my goals of rebuild and rebirth, and they also delve deeply into the beautiful, poetic symbolism and metaphors of the Bible, Creation, architecture, and our connection to the divine. The bible i’m currently studying is the King James Version, as i know it’s english friendly and also deeply poetic and beautiful in this sense, but to my Christian brothers do you have any recommendations for a specific edition of bible to study? I’m a Christian but not one who rejects any other denomination, so i’m open minded to study any kind. Some aid here would be great :)

SO its My 51st Birthday, 15th Anniversary and I am going in for surgery on the dodgey veins in my legs. 51 years which included 26 years of Naval Service. Many many years of sports that included hard knocks, Pavement Pounding, Body Torturing and over stressing has caught up. Hopefully after this surgery my right leg will not swell as much, my upper leg wont heat up and throb and my left leg will just be happy. It was recommended I come in for day surgery in something comfortable, when I mentioned what I find comfortable, the Dr recommended Shorts and a T-Shirt. Oh and the colourful bracelet was made by my daughter just this morning for my birthday and to wear to my Syrgery. Therefore today’s outfit consists of; Charles Tyrwhitt Textured Jacquard Polo in Airforce Blue, untucked as it is going to be 30 today Cotton On Denim Short in White Anson Canvas Strap in White and Navy (under the untucked polo 😉) on a Traditional Buckle in Gunmetal Hoka Clifton 10 wit ankle socks SOTD - Montale Cafe Intense WOTD - Erebus Ascent 41 Blue MoP
