I never knew Denim Day existed until now, but if the military (HQ) authorizes a breach of standard dress code in the name of denim, who am I to argue. More importantly, it for a stellar cause: established in 1999, Denim Day is an annual deployment to raise awareness against sexual violence and obliterate misconceptions surrounding sexual assault. Upper Layer: I’ve bypassed the standard-issue white, blue, brown, tan, and olive linen shirt and went with mustard - rumor has it, it perfectly compliments my skin tone. Middle Layer: The undisputed champion of denim, Wrangler boot cut denim jeans. Bottom Layer: Ostrich boots to match the shirt. Outer Wear: I would be wrong if I forgot “the third layer” so I included my MTM western inspired chocolate jacket. Wrist Wear: My Seiko "Pepsi” watch. The metal bracelet pairs harmoniously and ties the outfit together.
