A Birthday Wish To Level Up

So yesterday was my 59 birthday, and it was a truly beautiful day. One of the best things is having someone that not only supports your changes up also sees the benefits and opportunities from them and encourages you as well as their selves. One thing I love, is drinking coffee, especially after dinner having a nice cup of coffee. I had started getting into the gourmet coffee, teas, and different types of coffee, teas and brewing. So my beautiful bride for my birthday surprised me with an espresso machine and also created a space in our kitchen and set me up our own Barista coffee area. She ordered things and created our own Barista area in our home, then informed me that more is on the way. Gentlemen, celebrating your life, your achievements, are great, but having that one person who not only celebrates them with you but also makes the journey with you is priceless. Then my bride tells me, “ as we learn this and grow into it, we can take this espresso machine to your office and buy a bigger one for the house.” Who can ask for more. I am truly blessed.

Hello everyone, I need to upgrade my wardrobe in a more casual fashion choice. I have tried Penguin Brand which i think is Nordstrom house brand its okay. I have tried Tommy Hilfigure Chinos, love the fabric, the feel, the fit, the color options. But the color fades fast. For the price i pay for it expected them to last longer than 1-2 washes. I am looking for more natural fibers, like 97% cotton and 2--3% elastic. Anyone has experience with Spier and Mackay? Their Chino's are about under $100 a pair, Men's Warehouse sells a good pair for about $50 (i never had a complaint from their product) but I do know they have degraded in quality over time. That is why I am thinking of shopping somewhere else. Any advise would be grateful 🙏. My budget under $100 Fit: not slim and not baggy Look: like James bond casino Royale fit. Materal: the more natural the better. Minimum 95% cotton. Side note: the 3 chinos shown are from Spier and Mackay 2nd photo is from MW.

Which is the Real Issue? (Humor)

In the midst of all the turmoil in our world, I like to look for humor, sometimes accompanied by a dose of irony, confusion or just minor bewilderment. This is a sign I observed above a urinal in the restroom of a large humanitarian organization in Washington DC. My first thought was, “Ok, I hereby promise not to do any of the aforementioned acts.” But then I focused on the word “paperclips”. I wondered if this was really an issue. Is this an isolated problem? Something initiated or maybe exacerbated by Covid? A regional tradition? Brothers, I have to confess, I was unaware of the practice of throwing paper lips in a urinal! Was it just an isolated case of a man relieving himself while perusing a recently received manuscript and in the process losing said paper clip? Of course, this lead my brain to wonder how often this curious (and apparently heinous) act occurs, that it warrants an official warning? And then I question the personality of the person with the authority and responsibility for protecting the integrity of said urinal. Is this so egregious and/or common an act as to warrant an official written warning? Obviously, I will probably never know the true answers to my questions. But brothers, I have to ask, have you ever been tempted to throw a paperclip into a urinal?
