Today I headed into the office to work and catchup with for colleagues. Decided my Summer Weight 3-piece would work well. I dont often wear the 3-piece but with the cooler weather it makes sense and just looks so darn nice. Today, I played a little with colors. I was inspired by @Ron LaBrec who posted a similar attire, and I had a comment. Well, practice what you preach! The outfit for today consists of my royal blue shirt and khakhi chinos as the base with camel Trucker jacket (100% cotton) as the layer. Brown belt, suede loafers, brown strapped wrist watch, and Tiger Eye bracelet complete the look. I faced a problem. Since it is still 100F outside, and I did not want to go without a layer (simply, my new style), I had to fold the sleeves of both the upper pieces. I could not do it in the traditional way of folding the sleeve of the shirt first and then the jacket (or the other way around). So, I experimented with this kind of "partially overlapped" folding. I think this has an edgy look but not too sloppy. What's your take guys? Btw, I use the color wheel (attached) for choosing most of my dress combinations. Your feedback is most welcome!
