Shoutout To Chad Smith & Dr. Jason Cole (Setting the Standard!)
Shoutout to a couple of members who set the tone for what makes this community great! First, @Chad Smith with a strong OOTD post. He did exactly what helps others learn: he shared the full outfit breakdown, the details, and the why behind it — from the navy cable knit and brown polo to the indigo 501s, oxblood double monks, matching strap, scent, and watch. That kind of post gives other men real examples they can study and apply. (Link to post) Second, @Dr. Jason Cole for jumping in to help @Ken Erickson with a style question on black tux shoes. That kind of thoughtful member-to-member guidance is exactly what builds a real brotherhood here — not just posting, but showing up to help someone make a better decision when it matters. Ken’s question itself was a great one too: plain toe, cap toe, wingtip, or even black dress boots with a tux. (Link to comment) Post your outfits. Ask your questions. Help your fellow members. That’s how we all get sharper!

This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

White + Navy/Black = Too stark? Poll
I have been experimenting with white + navy blue (and white + black/charcoal) combination. I think these contrasts are too visually striking. I did find some fashion videos that concur with my opinion. What's your take? Here is the poll.

CW = Critiques welcome! Several vendor meetings today. While no need to be overly formal with a bona fide suite, I still represent the company and our clients during vendor meetings. That said, I may need to start incorporating seasonal coloring as a part of the AI outfit selection. This feels rather autumnal , but I do love the look of an off vest and an odd jacket. One final note: I hate this shirt. The tab collar takes forever to button and it is nearly impossible to iron sufficiently to get out the wrinkles. I don't mind when linen does this, but it is loathsome on cotton. Today's Look: Refined Earth Tones for Vendor & Contractor VC Meetings • Blazer — DOJ-003 (Ralph Lauren Green Label): A luxurious camel hair blazer in a rich caramel tone with light tan horn-pattern buttons and notched lapels. The full paisley lining in brown, gold, and red adds a hidden flourish of personality, while the single rear vent and bilateral darts create a clean, tailored silhouette perfect for commanding attention on video calls with vendors and contractors. • Shirt — DS-037 (Proper Cloth): A made-to-order mid-blue 80s 2-ply pinpoint dress shirt featuring a distinctive tab collar and French cuffs with white contrast details. The hidden placket and mother-of-pearl buttons deliver understated sophistication, while the tab collar ensures the tie sits perfectly elevated throughout the day—ideal for video conference presence. • Undershirt — US-007 (Pro Club): A chocolate-brown heavy cotton crew neck undershirt that provides excellent coverage without show-through under the mid-blue shirt. Reliable comfort and a neutral foundation that won't compete with the outfit's warm earth-tone palette. • Trousers — SL-010 (di Milano): Brown wool slacks with a subtle static-line weave and dark brown secondary tones that harmonize beautifully with today's earth-tone palette. Double outward pleats provide a classic, elegant drape with a break falling between medium and full—exactly right for business formality. These trousers deliver exceptional mobility (5/5) and all-day comfort (4/5). The matte finish keeps the look grounded while the subtle pattern adds textural interest that complements the houndstooth vest without competing. A true business-classic choice rated "In Person" meeting-suitable—ideal for impressing vendors and contractors.

Did You Notice?
There are times I feel I prove the definition of insanity, “ Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” And the reality is I am fighting myself by trying make major changes that I really was not ready to make and expecting it all to work out. So how do I make changes without failing or making a fool out of myself? How can I make changes that people don’t think that I’m faking or that I am trying too hard? This is what I learned, if I can work on getting 1% better every day, most people think improvement requires massive change. They wait for motivation, they plan for tomorrow, but ancient philosophy teaches us something; radical greatness is not built in leaps, it is built in barely noticeable steps repeated with relentless consistency. Think about this, clearly 1% better every day doesn’t feel like progress, it feels like nothing and that is exactly why it works. Your mind doesn’t resist small changes it resists revolution. The stoics understood this deeply Marcus Aurelius didn’t become wise overnight. He wrote one reflection at a time, day after day, year after year, small deposits into the bank of discipline. Gentlemen, here’s the truth most miss; if you improve just one percent daily for one year you don’t just improve, you also grow, learn, and make tangible gains in your life.
