This Sunday we move back to Regular Time in the Chuch Year which means the paraments are green. So today I wore my madras jacket which includes green in the pattern with brown trousers, a grey Winchester shirt and brown brogued derbies. To further accentuate the green on the alter I wore a green bow tie, green pocket square and a green and white fedora. (Please note that hat was only wore for the picture and not during the service.) After service, we went home and I took off my jacket and hat and made lunch. After lunch I put on that brown linen newsboy cap and left for the Shamrock Club meeting. It is always amazing how changing to things radically change the look of an outfit.

Are tie tacks still a thing? Would you risk putting a hole in a nice neck tie? I have a few that the wife got for me when she found me some old school cuff links . I have never used nor worn a tie tack before, I worry the hole would cause the tie thread to start unwrapping
