Introduce Yourself HERE!- Post ALL Intros On This Thread
What to say in your intro? Share where you're from, your reason for joining, perhaps your favorite fragrance, watch or a picture of you dressed sharp! It's a small action, but a HUGE step in you getting value from this community becasue you go from being a lurker to an ACTIVE member. In fact men that introduce themselves are 10X more likely to the actions to becoming their best selves. Bonus Point - By introducing yourself you're guaranteed to level-up. Seriously, you'll get at least 5-20 likes/points (oftentimes more) which will move you to level 2 and possibly level 3. And just like that you have access to more of this community!

A vest, or more accurately in this case, a waistcoat, is a sleeveless garment whose primary purpose is to provide warmth which is why I grabbed one as the temps fell 50% over the past 24 hours. However, as style perpetually does where form follows function, a vest can provide quite a statement and immense versatility to an outfit. Let me start with defining terms. A waistcoat is always a buttoned garment that has no sleeves. Typically it’s a more restrictive definition of being a more formal garment than just a vest (in the UK the distinction between vest and waistcoat is even more astute). A vest can be buttoned or a pullover but the key to a Vest or Waistcoat is that each HAS NO SLEEVES. A vest’s fabric can be knitted, or not. If knitted it is a sweater-vest whether it has a button front or not. But again IT HAS NO SLEEVES. A v-neck sweater under a a coat that has sleeves or a cardigan sweater under a coat that has sleeves are NOT VESTS. They are merely sweaters. I see that error made frequently in this community. While I don’t point this out when it happens (and truthfully sometimes it’s impossible to know if the garment has sleeves in a pic), I respectfully address this as a mere point of reference to guys who might be confused about this distinction. START CONTROLLING YOUR INPUTS
Success isn’t confusing. Most people just pretend it is because the truth offends them. It’s not luck. It’s not timing. It’s not talent. It’s not who you know. It’s inputs and outputs. What you do every day determines what your life looks like. Period. You won't get results because you want them. You won't get results because you believe in yourself. You'll only get results when you've put in the work long after the excitement has worn off. Winning is math. It's a sum of the days you exercise the discipline required. When those days stack into weeks... Weeks stack into months... ...and months stack into years... That's when the equation balances. Quit searching for the fucking corner to cut. Quit negotiating your effort and standards. Quit hoping for the reality of winning to bend to your level of comfort. It won't. Control your inputs. Daily. Do that for long enough… ...and the output will reflect it. ~ Andy Frisella
