Has anyone successfully migrated away from DocuSign? Who are you using?
QCD
Are people recording QCDs in Redtail and then out of courtesy letting the clients know when 1099's are delivered what amount of the 1099R distribution is QCD in case they forgot since it looks like the code Y is optional in box 7
PreciseFP Forms
Hi Operators! Wanted to see if there were any other PreciseFP users in this crowd. We recently adopted it and have set a new client onboarding template - gathering all their details about employment, assets, liabilities, goals, family, etc. It's quite thorough (and long!). We also set up a template for our annual update, so that existing clients can confirm their details, and also tell us about anything new/send new statements for financial planning. What else are y'all using it for? There are plenty of options in their library, just not sure where to start and what will really be practical. For example, for our practice, estate planning would be better suited in a conversation than a form. Would love to hear how you are using the tool the most!
Virtual Meeting Assistants
Good morning! Back in June @Kevin Stephison had asked about using "AI Notes" for virtual meetings in this thread. I'm currently considering adding a meeting assistant to help with my Zoom/Teams meetings to record/transcribe/summarize my client meetings. I know @Joe Moss mentioned in the thread above that he's used Grain and Fathom. Curious, Joe... which of these 2 would you recommend and why? In the same thread @Brian Quaranta mentioned Avoma. And @Mark Wellman suggested a couple additional options. Anyone else trialed or using any of these tools and have any thoughts or opinions? Thanks very much 😀
