Write something
If taking time off feels stressful, here’s why.
Most advisors aren’t worried about being away, they’re worried about what might fall apart while they’re gone. You don’t need to work harder to earn rest. You need systems that keep working when you step away. Here’s the simplest path: 1. Document before you delegate. If the process lives in your head, you can’t unplug. 2. Automate what can’t wait. Let your CRM handle follow-ups and reminders. 3. Appoint a decision-maker. Someone should know what they can decide without you. 4. Set expectations. Tell your team and clients what to expect while you’re out. 5. Unplug for real. You built the business to support your life, not the other way around. Freedom comes from structure. And you deserve both.

Food gift baskets for client gifts?
Does anyone have a national company they love for sending edible client gifts? We've been using iGourmet to send charcuterie to some of our top clients the last few years. However, their prices continue to go up and we are looking at other alternatives to stay within the gifting limit. I loved some of the feedback folks shared on @Kayla Berger's post about client experience and some gifts (Thanksgiving pies, college sweatshirts for parents of new students, etc.) and thought I'd try some sourcing beyond my Google searches.
Simplify Your CRM with Simplicity Ops + Wealthbox
Your CRM is probably getting used every day, it just isn’t creating the level of clarity or consistency you want yet. Those small cracks in your workflows, data, and processes add up over time, and they’re the reason things feel harder than they should. Our Wealthbox webinar was created to close those gaps. In this training, we walked through: - Why small inefficiencies become recurring weekly frustrations - How to turn “it mostly works” into reliable operations - What a clean, centralized CRM actually looks like inside an advisory firm This session is complete, clear, and built to help you see exactly what needs to change so your CRM becomes a true operational hub, not another source of friction. Here’s to smoother days ahead.
Migrating from Salesforce to Wealthbox
Hey friends - Happy Friday! We are bringing on a new advisor and her BOB. She spent about 10 years on Salesforce (SF), and we need to migrate that over to Wealthbox (WB). The team at WB will help with the basics, but cannot assist us with the ~5,000 attached documents that she has stored by "event" (meeting) for each client. We need an expert who can help us export the docs and metadata from SF, clean it up (add the clients' names/dates to the files, if necessary), and import it into WB. I have to believe that another firm has walked through this before and has some insight. Any suggestions on who to contact? TIA!
Client Experience
Our firm is focusing this year on ways to elevate our client experience. What are some items your firm does that you believe elevates the overall client experience?
