One of my biggest joys lately has been seeing my mom thrive in her workouts. She mentioned to me that when she was lifting weights she felt a little off balance. I took a look at her shoes and realized they had a lot of cushion, which isn’t always ideal for strength training. So I got her a pair of Nike Metcon training shoes to try. I think Nike should just pay me already 😝 for promoting Metcons. The moment she tried them during her workout, her eyes lit up. She said, “My balance is better, the grip is better, my form feels better, and I’m not afraid of twisting my ankle anymore. Thank you so much my daughter for getting me these shoes. I feel strong and confident when I work out.” Then of course she proudly told my siblings, “Your sister got me workout shoes and oh boy do I love them!” 😄 This felt like such a special win for me. Not because of the shoes, but because it gave her confidence. Since then she’s been spending more time on her walking pad, feeling more energized, and enjoying her workouts even more. Seeing our parents take care of their health and feel strong is one of the most rewarding feelings. ❤️
