Daily steps and NEAT
This one question has been on my mind for quite some time. As a working mom of a toddler, and having a kind of desk job (lawyer here), on most days it’s tough to get the required 8-10k steps in, though the mental and physical load of the entire day is quite high, starting from morning school rush to work to back home and till bedtime. On most days I have no energy to get any more steps in.. after the standard 5-6k. How important is this 8-10k steps and are there other ways to up the NEAT? Also, isn’t my overworked mom brain expending a lot of energy too 🙈 does that not count 😂
