DAY 24 — Batch Filming & Keeping It Simple
Today like every day I had to make some dissections. today it was about my set up, I'm happy with what I have … not because I built some perfect system, but because I realized I don’t need one.
My biggest struggle right now is my setup. Living and filming out of a motorhome means nothing stays set up. Every time I want to film, I’m basically starting from scratch—lights, camera, framing… all of it.
And if I’m not careful, that alone can stop me from even getting started.
So instead of trying to “fix” that, I decided to accept it.
My setup is simple:Kitchen or desk, tripod, lights, hit record. That’s it.
No perfection. No overthinking.
The big win today was deciding to batch my Shorts instead of trying to create every day.I’m going to aim for 7 Shorts in one session, probably Monday or Tuesday morning.
It takes the pressure off daily filming and lets me just show up, get in a flow, and create.
So right now I’m focused on:👉 Keeping it simple👉 Learning as I go👉 Applying what I can without getting overwhelmed
I’m starting to use OBS, getting more comfortable on camera, and just building the system one step at a time.
Nothing about this is perfect—but it’s moving forward.
I think that feels like a win.
Let’s keep going
