I am calling it done, however, this will be a continued work in progress. I fell into the old behavior of running to food as a distraction! This was my role for the past three years at a large corporation (Gartner) until I woke up one morning on the wrong side of a “reduction in force” (RIF). Now that I’m free from restrictions and can freely discuss the impact of technology (which my previous employer is renowned for), I can now establish my own platform. Exciting times ahead!

Completing day 4 might take me all month. Not because I’m putting it off, but I’m still building. No question tho, the audience really does judge a book by its cover, at least on YouTube. There’s no question in my mind how important this is. Did anyone else struggle with completing this day?

I shoot primarily in vertical format on my iPhone using a magnetic mount from Ulanzi on a tripod. I mostly use natural light which is in abundance in Southern California in and around my cabin in the mountains. The wood interior softens the sound reflections, but I still run my audio track through Adobe's Podcast Audio Enhancer. While I self identify as a minimalist (after decades on the other side), I did just purchase an Elgato Prompter and their Facecam 4K to use for my scripted long-form videos. I'm still waiting for it to arrive, but hope that will prove to be a worthy investment. I'm stingy to the core. LOL! I also have some LED Key Lights from Elgato that I use if I need to shoot something at night, but for now they are still packed away in my barn. Our 3 room cottage is TINY!
