After revisiting my niche, the videos I like to make, the desired viewer transformation, and some analytics research, I discovered, more men are watching my channel than women! So to narrow down my niche to only women seems foolish! I am coming to the conclusion I need to move on from day 3 with the changes I have made (I redid my description). I will be revisiting Day three later in the year as I grow into the voice vehicle I know I am called to. For today my niche statement is "I help those disconnected from God discover the path to freedom." Thank you tribe for seeing me through the struggle, it has been real! Well, this was exciting! Getting to the meat of my videos. It is very clear how this formula will work to make my videos a success. This took me 3hrs15min to complete this portion. I have more to do. Before I script, I decided to create a cheatsheet/template (6pages!) to use to script each of my videos. I will create the 3-Part framework and rehook statements for every 30-60 seconds later. (Another brain break is needed.😫) My video topic will be an introduction to my channel. I'm sure I will learn even more in the Scripting Webinar on tomorrow🎉. Today I reviewed my day 3 entries and pushed a little further defining my viewer and their frustrations and struggles. I also dug into what transformation my content can provide. I researched other creators in the Gen X and Midlife transformation niche and found that most of them are monetizing through memberships where viewers can join member only livestreams and 1 on 1 calls. The next step would be to reach out these creators to see if this is a successful strategy. I also copied the video transcripts from Day 8 (scripting) and Day 11 (Titles and Thumbnails) as I want to post a video in the next couple of days so I don’t lose momentum. I read these transcripts a couple of times, and will review them when planning/ creating my next video. Once my video is posted, I’m going right back to day 3 to make sure I’ve covered everything before moving onto day 4 which I’m sure will keep me busy for a few days!! Well… here we go. I’m starting the 30-Day Creator Challenge for YouTube. And yes — I’ve tried this before. And no — I didn’t finish it. Last time I got too involved. I overthought it. I tried to upgrade everything at once. Better thumbnails. Better hooks. Better strategy. Better lighting. Better everything. Instead of just following the plan, I tried to redesign the whole system. Classic me. I wasn’t lacking motivation — I was lacking focus. This time feels different. Today I finished Day 1.Simple. Done. Posted. And that’s the commitment:Post something every day. Not perfect. Not revolutionary. Just consistent. What makes this challenge interesting for me is that it’s forcing me to really look at direction. My channel isn’t just “content.” It’s connected to our bigger vision — helping people find a blissful yoga lifestyle and eventually guiding them toward our Skool community. That’s where it gets complicated. Am I making videos to get views?Or to attract the right people?Am I teaching? Inspiring? Experimenting? Entertaining? Honestly… I’m still figuring that out. But maybe that’s the point. Maybe the 30 days isn’t about growth hacks.Maybe it’s about clarity. One day at a time. One post at a time. Less reinventing the wheel.More actually turning it.
