Day 15 Done 💪
Wow today I took lots of notes and learned so much more about CTR, AVD, WATCH TIME. I hadn't totally grasped it the way Alexa explained on her video. I started really late today so not a lot to say, however, the big aha for me was: Study my own behavior on YouTube and Implement that into my own videos . Excellent advice . ● what I watch ● why I keep watching ● what Hooks grab me ● what makes me click away ● why do I subscribe to certain channels or creators Onward to Day 16 Thank you in advance Cheering Squad Cheering Squad Tags: @Dr. Saundra Stancil @Michael LeJeune @Ricardo Solomons @Jenny Sharratt @Jaye Brunner @Debbie Pearson

Day 15 - Creator Breakthrough Series (How YouTube Actually Works in 2026)
As you know, it has been an intense period for me, but I did not quit and I do not quit... I Continue!!! It was almost a month (22 days actually), but I never quit. I talked about it and worked on it daily even though you did not see me post about it. Silence is golden and with that golden nugget, this Day 15 is completed & proof attached.😁 It is important to take care of your priorities and address obstacles that interfere😅. Then there are advancement opportunities that shifts the growth cycle📈. This is what happened in the last few weeks: - served 7 clients (including 2 emergency clients) - started my Skool Community for this pivot & learning everything😁 - updated my profile here twice - took a business trip and this CBS challenge with me😀 - met with in-person & virtual colleagues & collaborators - joined a couple of Skool groups that will benefit this entire career shift of my retirement business (Thanks, @Mike Bayer , @Des Dreckett, @Alexa Saarenoja's new group--all are Game Changers!💥📈🔥) - secured a CRM for this business🔥 - had urgent home roofing repairs done - prepped two trade shows, & done - recorded and edited videos - computer maxed out of memory!!!😨 - prep for in-town guest for business interview of me - and even more I won't mention I'm just documenting for my own reference, but you can enjoy the above (or get exhausted reading it, lol😆). For me, can't stop, won't stop💪🏾. In my past, I hate numbers and do all kinds of creative things with them. But this day, like many of the other days in this challenge, was encouraging. I am going to like the numbers!😍 The ultimate lesson was Alexa's final statement: -CTR brings my clients in -AVD keeps my clients watching -Engagement shows my clients I care That's it! I'm all ready for Day 16--this one is going to be exciting too!😀 Side Info: -Current Niche: Teaching Gift Basket Biz Startups

Now @Dr. Saundra Stancil wow 😮 Can we pause ⏸️ What an inspiration ⭐ So many plates spinning and I love the " Can't stop 🛑 Won't Stop" Energy 💪 Powerful statements backed up by the actions you are taking every step along the way. I know we go quiet from time to time but in know what this feels like been doing this of late, just doing the thing. I don't have a print out of Alexa's CB challenge but I will print this out and Start adding to my flow. Adding a calendar 🗓️ also because it's getting hectic Thanks and happy to hear from you friend we are all rooting for you!
Day 13 Done💪
I was a bit uneasy about recording the video. GETTING STARTED: ●●Started by gathering and testing my equipment. ●● Plan Was to go to a park and record as I walked in wooded area. Didn't go as planned🤣🤪😂 ●●I recorded outside where we have trees because it got late on me and started getting dark. Cats joined me: 😻😻😻 ■ EQUIPMENT USED: ● iPhone Air Mic ● Samsung S26 Mic ● An Aisizon Wireless Lavalier Microphone bought years ago and hadnt used. Charged it. ● AB Shutter 3 - a clicker to start & stop recording ● Octupus Tripod EQUIPMENT TESTING: ■ Ran the following tests on a new iPhone Air and a new Samsung S26. ● #1 TEST : iPhone Air Mic Quality ● on tripod on kitchen counter ● walked around kitchen & living room, ● TV music on. ● RESULTS: quality is only good close to it, heard a bit of TV sound. ● iPhone Air does have a noise Correction option for after recording. ● #2 TEST: iPhone Air with Aisizon Wireless Lavalier Mic Quality ... ● Receiver connects to phone ● Lapel Mic on my shirt. ● Walked around kitchen & living room ● TV music on ● RESULT: Sound was better than iPhone Mic & didn't hear TV sound at all. AWESOME. ● #3 & #4 TEST: Samsumg S26 Android - Repeated the 2 Tests above ● RESULTS - were very similar DECISION: Record with iPhone Air & Aisizon Wireless Lavalier Mic NEXT - PLANNING: Watched Alexa's Day 13 Video and read Alexa's email from May 8th, with the 5 Step Action Plan below to write down and use to record with Bullets. So our first videos are not to be reading the script with a teleprompter the bullets are for a guide. The Action Plan Script your next video using this method: 1. Hook (5 min) 2. Key points (10 min) 3. Sub-points (10 min) 4. CTA (3 min) 5. Transitions (2 min) Total time: 30 minutes. Then film it. Don't refine the script. Don't rewrite it. Just film. MY PLANNING TIME: ● It Took about 30+ minutes to do these on paper. ● I then Had ChatGPT finalize them so I could refer to them on my Android phone. RECORDING LOCATION:

Day 11 Done 💪
This lesson narrowed down for me what actually should be on a thumbnail versus the title. Sparking curiosity with tension between the title and thumbnail without confusion really taught me a lot. VIDEO TITLE: Why Starting Over Is Hard At Any Age and How To Fix It. ( now I really have to deliver with my experience. ) THUMBNAIL: Text: SCARED? Image: Me with a Scared Expression. Selecting the three strongest words in the title, The way Alexa explains on video #11 really demonstrates how to create contrast, tension or curiosity. It helped rewrite my title and thumbnail as written abive. I had to watch the video several times and ask Gemini and perplexity to get different explanations of those three: create curiosity with tension and contrast. Asking myself whether the title has 70% clarity 30% curiosity to bring that into a thumbnail by using one to four words and a photo or image made me think a lot and research. Writing a title that will triggers: 1. a problem, 2. a result, 3. a surprise. was good learning. Learning how do you use frame, the Rule of Thirds on the thumbnail, why it's important and also on the video-during filming and during the editing. The framing can be adjusted to where top of head. is and whether I'm more to the right or to the left. I researched the Rule of Thirds to understand it better. v My title created the action and my thumbnail created the feeling and curiosity to get the viewer to click. My title explains the problem and the promise. My thumbnail emotional face signals vulnerability in which people want to know what happened. That's curiosity. Perplexity usage. I asked Perplexity whether my title and thumbnail complemented each other. The answer was YES. THEY COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER: TITLE - explains Topic + Promise THUMBNAIL - adds emotion that the title implies- "it says: this feels stressful, urgent" 1. So My (Scared Face) + word (Scared?) makes the emotion Stakes visible right away. Thank you in advance Cheering Squad 😊

Day 10 check-in. Didn't go to plan as hoped . GOOD. 😂
Needed rest today. Held space. Listened to my body. GOOD. Went to action the B-roll prep and found my PC running on WiFi from a router a country mile away. Spinning wheel of death. Zero updates. Zero footage loading. GOOD. - Exposed a weak link in my setup. Mission today: buy a LAN cable, plug in direct, update everything. Clear the path. obstacles reveal what needs fixing. Now it's fixed. Day 11, let's go. 💪🔌 Who else had a "didn't go to plan" day this week?
