Have you ever had a group of people online sing happy birthday to you? I hadn't either - until this morning. Not only was it hilarious (the lag time was the icing on the cake!), but it made me smile so hard my cheeks actually hurt. Thank you so much to everyone who was kind enough to play along, and thank you to @Jennifer Silbert for being a champion cheerleader! In addition to this feat of excellence, the session started off with some important CLASSIFIEDS updates and introductions to 13 incredible people/communities in the CLASSIFIEDS. I am continually blown away by the caliber of the members in this group and the warm, supportive, collaborative spirit! There's just something about having emojis blown at you while you are talking that really buoys you up! HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. EVERYONE IN THE PATH OF THE WINTER STORM, BE SAFE! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ THE SATURDAY WEIGHTโ€‘LOSS WARNING SIGN YOUR BODY KEEPS SENDING If you feel โ€˜heavy,โ€™ itโ€™s not a personality trait. Itโ€™s your chemistry filing a complaint. Most people think weight loss is about discipline. Or motivation. Or finally saying no to the office donuts like a responsible adult. Meanwhile, their body is over here like: โ€œBestie, Iโ€™m inflamed. Iโ€™m not burning fat. Iโ€™m barely answering emails.โ€ Thereโ€™s a specific internal switch that decides whether your body is in: - Fatโ€‘Burn Mode - โ€œWeโ€™re releasing, baby!โ€ or - Absolutely Not Mode - โ€œWeโ€™re holding on to everything, including water, emotions, and that muffin from Tuesday." And most people are stuck in the second one because their chemistry is throwing a tantrum. You know that feeling where you wake up and think: โ€œWhy do I feel like a puffy marshmallow with opinions?โ€ Yeah. Thatโ€™s the switch. Inside my community, I decode that switch. We talk about the actual reasons your body refuses to release weight, the ones no one mentions because theyโ€™re too busy yelling about carbs and willpower. I donโ€™t do: - diets - shame - โ€œI'll start Mondayโ€ energy I do: - gutโ€‘calming tricks - nervous system resets - GI-MAP'S - chemistry - and the kind of science that makes your body say, โ€œOhโ€ฆweโ€™re safe? Cool. I can let go of the weight now.โ€ If youโ€™ve ever felt like your body is holding on to weight like itโ€™s saving it for winter, youโ€™re not wrong. If youโ€™ve ever felt like your body is holding on to weight for reasons that make zero sense, youโ€™re not imagining it. Youโ€™re just missing the chemistry. And thatโ€™s what I'm doing inside my community. Let's address the chemistry. THE REALITY CHECK NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR (BUT EVERYONE NEEDS) The money youโ€™ll spend to join is nothing compared to what your body is already paying. People will spend: - $7 on a latte - $40 on a DoorDash order - $200 on supplements you forget to take - $600+ on a weekend trip you need a vacation from - 100's of dollars on Amazon

Itโ€™s not a lack of discipline. Itโ€™s the Dopamine Gap. When our brains are "buffering," we reach for the easiest "snack" availableโ€”usually doomscrolling. Weโ€™re hungry for a hit of focus, but weโ€™re snacking on digital trash. Iโ€™ve started treating my focus like a literal restaurant. Instead of guessing what I need when I'm overwhelmed, I look at my DOPAMINE MENU APP to pick a specific "starter" to get my brain moving. The result? Less paralysis, more actual progress. Question for the group: If you had a literal menu for your brain, what would be your "Chefโ€™s Special"โ€”that one weird activity that actually resets your focus? ๐Ÿฒ
