HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. Why Your Marketing Images Are Trying to Do Too Much
One business rule I’d happily break 😬 “Your images should explain what you do.” I don’t think they should. I think they should make someone curious enough to stop. Your website explains. Your About page explains. Your sales page explains. Your image has a much smaller job. Get someone interested enough to read the next thing. When we ask one image to explain everything… It usually ends up explaining nothing. That’s a big part of what we’re working on inside Defunk’d Design Not prettier graphics. Not trendier graphics. Images that actually do the job they were created to do. 🎉 Early Adopter pricing is now live for the next 10 members. 😆 I also turned on a 7-day free trial if you want to come snoop first… Operation Stop the Slop has now commenced! 👇🏻 What’s the biggest job you expect your images to do? Get the click? Explain your business? Build trust? Sell? …Or something else?

Starting Over: A six-day course (5 - 10 minutes per day)
Are you starting a new job or moving house? Or maybe you're just one of the people on the planet who is leaving behind the old and starting over, now with the template of The New. My newest course is simple. It is mostly just contemplating for a few minutes each day. Plus some exercises, including brainstorming, and asking "What do I need and require to ______?" This week will be the most tumultuous week since Sept. 2001 on planet Earth. You may not be able to do anything except process. If you find this simple course impossible to focus on because of the stress level, it may be helpful next week, as you ease out of the tumult.

Not every win happens after the sale.
Sometimes the win is finally seeing what may be stopping the sale in the first place. One of my newer members had already built a lot for the women in her community. She had ideas. She had content. She had been creating and giving. But after I ran an Offer Hypothesis/Fix-My-Offer on what she was building, one gap became clear: Her members may not have known what their next step with her was. Her response was: “You didn’t just give me more ideas—you helped me see the gap in what I’ve already built.” That’s the kind of win I care about. Not adding 20 more things to her plate. Helping her find one clear offer she can actually put in front of her members and test without overwhelming herself. She left encouraged, focused, and excited—and immediately started telling her members about the 30-day challenge she’s now testing. No sale to report yet. But now there’s a real offer, a real next step, and a real experiment underway. That’s what happens inside Earn Your First $1 On Skool: Post what you’re building. Get another set of eyes on it. Find the gap. Fix one thing. Launch the next attempt. Because sometimes the thing blocking your first sale isn’t that you need more ideas. It’s that the right people don’t know what to do next. $3/month or $18/year with a 7-day free trial.
