Do you use the library, or do you prefer to buy books?
Last week, I went to the library, and that kind of prompted this question. š Where do you usually buy your books from? Do you like to buy them online, or in a store? Or do you prefer to borrow them from the library, or a mixture of all of those things? I hadnāt been to the library in ages, and we went to our local one, because I wanted to sign up, so that I could borrow digital books online. I actually had to get a new library card, because I wasnāt on their system anymore due to the fact that Iād got the library card nearly 20 years ago! 𤣠I usually buy e-books, because itās easier to hold with the osteoarthritis and I have a Kindle, which means Iām kind of tied to Amazon at the moment. But I have just switched to a Kobo e-reader, which Iāll be able to use to read digital library books. These are exactly the kinds of conversations weāve been having in the Cosy Living Community. Everyday chats about the things that make life more enjoyable, from books and reading to all things cosy living. Itās a lovely, friendly space and Iād love to see you there! šø If that sounds like your kind of place, come and join us here ā”ļø https://skoo.ly/cosy And here are a couple of photos of the library, because it is a beautiful old building and has a really cool fact about it, it used to be a school and Charles Darwin went there. ā¬ļø
