Last week, I went to the library, and that kind of prompted this question. ๐
Where do you usually buy your books from? Do you like to buy them online, or in a store? Or do you prefer to borrow them from the library, or a mixture of all of those things?
I hadnโt been to the library in ages, and we went to our local one, because I wanted to sign up, so that I could borrow digital books online.
I actually had to get a new library card, because I wasnโt on their system anymore due to the fact that Iโd got the library card nearly 20 years ago! ๐คฃ
I usually buy e-books, because itโs easier to hold with the osteoarthritis and I have a Kindle, which means Iโm kind of tied to Amazon at the moment. But I have just switched to a Kobo e-reader, which Iโll be able to use to read digital library books.
These are exactly the kinds of conversations weโve been having in the Cosy Living Community. Everyday chats about the things that make life more enjoyable, from books and reading to all things cosy living. Itโs a lovely, friendly space and Iโd love to see you there! ๐ธ
And here are a couple of photos of the library, because it is a beautiful old building and has a really cool fact about it, it used to be a school and Charles Darwin went there. โฌ๏ธ
