Wonder What It's Like to Become a VIP Member of the CLASSIFIEDS?
If you saw the WATER COOLER drop in schedule last week and you were wondering how you too could become a VIP member and host your own hour, wait no longer - application are opening soon for our next VIP cohort. There are several benefits of being a VIP member, but the most sought after is the ability to participate in the VIP Collab Action Group. Want to learn more about all the benefits? Attend the information session on May 12 (exact time on your calendar). Can't attend live? No worries. It will be recorded. And what's even better, is that this time around applications will be collected in different categories, so if you serve parents, or women over 40, or animal lovers, or if you are in a health and wellness niche, or a hobby niche, or a business niche, you will be able to apply to collaborate with others who will compliment you instead of compete with you. I can't wait to see your application. Keep your šŸ‘€ open for application dates, and mark your calendar for the info session on May 12!

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! šŸ˜‰ This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

Why a monthly challenge inside your free community does more than a posting schedule
So many free Skool communities run on content alone. Posts go up, a few people comment, and the rest scroll past. What changes the dynamic is not more content - it is a structure that gives members a reason to show up repeatedly and a reason to invite others. Running a monthly challenge inside a free community does three things a regular posting schedule cannot. It creates a visible leaderboard, which means members can see who is active and feel the pull of participation. It creates a natural referral mechanism, because the best challenges reward people for bringing others in. And it creates a feedback loop - members share what they are actually doing, which gives you better insight into where they are stuck than any survey would. The challenge does not need a financial prize to work. A private audit call or a one-hour session with you is often worth more to the right member than a discount code. The perceived value of access beats cash at this level. If your free community is quiet, a structured challenge with clear rules and a 30-day window is often the fastest way to shift that - without adding more content to your plate. If you are building a free Skool community and want to see how this works in practice, come and take a look at what we are running this month in The Content Revenue Lab. https://tinyurl.com/TheContentRevenueLab Des Dreckett - The Content Revenue Lab

Before you eat anything, ask yourself these three questions…
1.) Am I physically hungry? If yes, go ahead and eat something. Pick the healthiest option available that’s also delicious for you. If no, go on to the next question. 2.) Am I trying to make myself feel better by eating? If no, consider what’s driving you to eat right now when you aren’t hungry. If yes, go on to the next question. 3.) What else can I do right now that will help me to feel better that doesn’t involve food? Whatever you come up with, do that thing. If it helps you feel better and you don’t need to eat afterwards, great! If you decide that you still want to eat after you do the thing you came up with in question 3, go ahead and eat. As you eat, bring hyper awareness to your eating. Notice the textures and the flavors. Allow yourself to fully CHOOSE to eat and let go of any guilt around it. When we bring guilt into eating, it’s easier to go unconscious and overdo it. No one likes to feel guilty! Bringing awareness to eating lets you derive maximum pleasure from it, and you will be less likely to overeat when you really take your time and notice each bite. I did this process yesterday when driving home. I really wanted to eat some organic popcorn I had just bought at the store. Wasn’t physically hungry, just liked the idea of having some popcorn. I went through the questions and realized that listening to music would feel good. The songs on the radio weren’t amazing, so I decided to sing instead. I had SOOO much fun singing on the hour drive home. I never did eat the popcorn. If I had chosen to eat it, I would have done my best to eat it with maximum awareness. When I got home, I did choose to eat some veggies and olives and a few chips. I felt physically hungry by that time. If you ever struggle with eating when you’re not hungry, or overeating, try this out and let me know how it goes for you!
