WATER COOLER Drop-in on Friday!!! Open to all!
It's that time again, and I hope you've marked your calendars! On Friday, some of our VIP members will be hosting our much-loved drop-in session called the WATER COOLER. What is it? A chance to drop in (and out, and maybe in again) to a casual coffee chat in order to meet fellow CLASSIFIEDS members. Whether you are new to Skool or are looking to connect with more people, this is a great opportunity to get to know people on a more human level - no pitching, no selling, no facades, just human connection (because aren't we all just craving a little more old fashioned conversation these days?!?!?). Check out the schedule below to learn more about the theme of each hour and then drop in and out as your schedule allows! Oh, and please check the calendar for the exact times in your time zone... First hour: @Traci Poe of the Public Speaker's Growth Hub is hosting "Let's Just Chat" Second hour: @Faith Adebayo of Your Skool Building Bestie is hosting "Get Found For Free" Third hour: @Liisa Reimann of Funnel Forensics is hosting " Confessions and Connections: Swap stories about community ownership - the funny, the hard, the surprising, and the just plain weird." Fourth Hour: @Diana Frank of Unfair Advantage is hosting "The ONE Thing - Can you do it?" Fifth Hour: @Nathaniel Parant of Light Heart Vision Skool is hosting TBD. Think of it like your opportunity to take a break from work, walk over to the water cooler to grab a drink, and connect with some colleagues!

🥳 I Have an Announcement, and I'm Really Excited About It!!!
Does this sound like you: - You're new to Skool and are struggling to figure out how this all works. Why is it kind of like social media but not really...? - You're trying to set up your community but there are so many options that you have no idea which on is right for you. - You have asked so many questions that you are now afraid to ask another one because you are worried about annoying people. - You are hopping around from free community to free community hoping to soak up as much knowledge about Skool as you can. - You are planning on making a go of things as soon as you feel confident, but you're not really quite sure when that will be or what it looks like... Then I have just the solution for you. Not only do I have a background in education and tons of experience creating high-quality courses that help people showcase their expertise and get meaningful results for their students, but I have also successfully monetized two communities and created one (this one) that has been a ⭐️ top 1% community for 7 of the last 11 months in the most saturated and competitive category - Money. I am regularly asked if I can help people set up their communities, and now I'm going to do just that. And just like I always do, I am going to make the price accessible and affordable. I'm not charging $3000 a month with promises that you are going to make millions. I'm not selling a dream. I'm showing you what it takes for the average person to get started in a way that sets you up for long-term success. On June 25th I will be announcing a one-day-only founding member opportunity that you won't want to miss out on. So mark your calendar and then watch this space because you are about to have all your questions answered and actually start to make measurable progress towards your Skool community dreams!

Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

Ever had someone in your community struggle with basic tech stuff?
You know the ones. They can't find their files. They're terrified of clicking the wrong thing. They almost fell for a scam text last week. They want to learn, but everything online is full of jargon that makes them feel dumb. That's exactly why I built Plain English IT. It's a free community where people can get real tech help and learn to stay safe online — in plain English, no jargon, no judgment, no question too basic. Real example: a member recently joined, barely knowing how to navigate Google Drive. By Day 3, they had built their own file system and cut their morning routine from 2 hours to 15 minutes. They were able to get their life back and be so much more productive. Her words: "Thank you for teaching me something I could understand in plain English." What's inside (all free): 🛡️ 5-Day Scam Defense Challenge ✅ Weekly scam alerts and Fix-It Friday 💬 Ask me anything — yes, it's actually me answering If someone in your community or your life comes to mind while reading this, send them the link. You might be giving them the thing they didn't know they needed. 🙂 👉 https://www.skool.com/plain-english-it-9134/about 🎥 Latest video — The "Unpaid Toll" Text Scam:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4V_wovJkw4M
What should a brand-new member accomplish in their first 7 days?
That’s the question we’re answering next week inside The First Win Challenge. Not watch. Not download. Not consume. Accomplish. I've been spending a lot of time looking at communities through a new member's eyes lately, and it's made me realize something... Most of us can explain what our community is about. Most of us can explain what's inside the classroom. Most of us can explain what members should click. But what should a brand-new member actually accomplish in their first week? Could they tell you? More importantly... could they tell themselves? On Monday, I'm kicking off The First Win Challenge inside Your Skool Building Bestie, the best community for people building, growing, or improving their own Skool communities. For 7 days, I'll post one daily prompt to help you look at your community through a new member's eyes and answer one simple question: 👉 What should a brand-new member accomplish in their first 7 days? You'll do the daily prompt in your own community, then come back and share what you noticed. By the end of the challenge, you'll have a clearer first win, a clearer member path, and a better understanding of what happens after someone joins. If you're building a Skool community and that question made you stop for a second... Come join us in Your Skool Building Bestie before Monday. ☕
