Taking accountability of my protein intake
I’m not able to start lifting quite yet due to medical reasons but hopefully soon. As I’ve stated before, sarcopenia is a big issue for me so I started tracking my protein intake. I’m making a list after each meal and looking up all the protein #’s and doing a daily list to make sure I’m eating appropriately 1g per lb body weight. So far so good. I noticed my appetite is increasing when activating my metabolism which has always worked for me in the past. Better energy and muscle seems harder. Also noticed when I eat ooccasional bad carbs I get bloated and it also effects my sleep in a negative way. I already have severe sleep apnea and don’t need to make things worse. I have tried the CPAP many years ago and just couldn’t make it work for me. Does anyone have sleep apnea? If so, does anyone have any experience with the Inspire implanted device that zaps your tongue and opens your airway to help you breathe again?
