At the gym this morning and something really stood out… The amount of phone distraction was incredible. I’m not judging—just observing—but it made me wonder how much people are actually getting out of their workouts. While I was warming up my old joints on the treadmill, I found myself watching people walk around more than they were actually training… scrolling, texting, drifting from machine to machine. Then I started lifting, and I could hear Keith in my head: “mind-muscle connection.” And it clicked. There’s a big difference between being at the gym and actually training. When you slow down, focus, and connect to the movement—you feel it. The workout becomes intentional. Purposeful. Less distraction.More connection.Better results. Something I’m reminding myself of moving forward.
