It was never designed to be bold or niche; instead, it was built to be easy‑going, inoffensive, & versatile, the kind of scent you grab when you just want something reliable without overthinking it. It leans herbal and fresh rather than sweet or heavy, setting it apart from many other mainstream releases from the same era. The opening hits with juniper berries, star anise, wormwood & jackfruit. It's bright, slightly fruity, with that distinct herbal kick from wormwood, the same stuff used in absinthe & vermouth. It crisp & a touch unusual at first, but that fades fast into the heart: soft suede, light tobacco, subtle coffee & buchu. Don’t go expecting a smoky, strong tobacco bomb here, these notes are muted, just enough to add texture and a hint of warmth without ever taking over. By the drydown, it settles into some reliables, Virginia cedar, oak, patchouli & smooth woody notes, leaving you with that familiar clean, earthy finish you’d expect from a CK scent. Like most mass‑market CK fragrances, it’s cheap & cheerful. It smells fine and won’t drain your wallet, but there’s always a catch: performance. On my skin, this one is weak. You’ll get maybe 1 hour of noticeable projection before it sits close to the skin, and total longevity tops out at only 3–4 hours. It’s perfectly fine for office days, casual outings, or warm weather when you don’t want anything loud, but if you want something that lingers or announces itself, look elsewhere. I’ve even thought about layering it or adding a bit of Cetalox just to give it more staying power — it’s a pleasant scent, it just doesn’t have the legs to stand on its own.
