Jazz 2.0 by G. Bellini/Lidl
I've reviewed some of these Bellini frags alone time ago. At times they can be hit or miss, but when they do hit, it's real good. Bellini is a private label brand for the discount retailer Lidl. Jazz 2.0 is one of their more popular dupes, releases on early 2025. The brand often uses large fragrance houses like Mane or Drom for their No prizes if you can guess the inspiration behind this one? And no it's not the classic YSL Jazz release. Jazz 2.0 is an Oriental Spicy fragrance that leans heavily into a boozy, smoky, and sweet aesthetic. Up Top, you get notes of Pink Pepper, Neroli & Lemon. The opening is bright and slightly sharp with the pink pepper & citrus. But it settles almost immediately into its core identity. At the heart you will find Rum, Java Vetiver Oil & Clary Sage. It matches its inspiration here with a warm, intoxicating blend of rum and tobacco. At the base, Tobacco Leaf, Vanilla Pod & Styrax. The vanilla in the base provides a creamy sweetness that balances the roughness of the tobacco, making it feel cozy rather than harsh. Although it's quite linear, you do get a 90% match to the original, they have done extremely well here. And it performed surprisingly robust. I get a solid 3hrs on skin before it begins to fade, projection is fairly solid for the duration, where it creates a noticeable scent bubble for the first 2 hours before receding closer to the skin. Like the OG, this will perform best in the cold The warmth of the rum and tobacco makes it perfect for cold weather, evening dates, or evening leisure. This is a dark, sweet, and boozy "mood" fragrance. I'd grab it while you can, because at these prices, it ain't gonna last long My Rating: 6.5/10 Scent: 2 Longevity: 2 Sillage: 1.5 Y/N: 1
