Lalique’s Encre Indigo is a new(er) line consisting of prominent tea and vetiver notes. Plunge vetiver in a pitcher of refrigerated iced tea overnight and in the morning this is the scent you get. I’ve read some reviewers claiming this isn’t a warm-weather scent. It emphatically is. It’s a hefty gulp of earthy iced tea on a hot and humid summer afternoon. Utterly refreshing. Excellent longevity and projection (EDP). At the discounters’ price, snag a couple of backup bottles. This is BDK quality at Lattafa prices.

I know we have discussed people success with Rescented when buying, but what about selling and more recently, buying as well, has the overall experience changed. Here are my thoughts Recently, some of you know, I have been offloading and curating a lot, probably around 30 bottles. I jumped into the world of Rescented and here are my thoughts after a fair amount of trying to sell and buy. I think their fee structure makes it a challenge for both seller and buyer to come to an agreement, especially for bottles, worth the smaller amount, say under $100 for ex. Per transaction fees ================= Buyer - Item + tax + $15 (which covers shipping) AND Seller - 20% commission So you can see with this structure, I need to low ball the seller to get an ok deal and the seller has to take a big hit. Of course higher dollar bottles work in favor of the buyer, since the $15 fee doesn't change. Buying ====== Rescented let's people sell their new or used bottles of frags, great if you can negotiate a deal with the seller, note you can not chat, only make offers and counter offers. People have to list their frags at a higher price because they anticipate the negotiation game. I have made offers on well over 20 frags and I have successfully acquired, just 1 and that was a meh experience in itself. Bottle came damaged, less juice than what was listed, customer support had great communication, but poor support. In the end, I kept the bottle and only got my $15 fee credited to my Rescented account, no refund and no option to return the bottle. I am in no way saying this is how it is with all, they may handle on a case by case basis. Now this platform is great for hunting, under the radar, hidden gems and or hard to find frags, even discontinued and with a responsive seller can come to a deal. Other experience I have is with sellers just not being responsive at all, you make an offer, not even a low ball and nada. Happens a lot, like the seller is ignoring you or they listed a bunch of stuff and never went back to Rescented.

I took the juncture from yesterday’s wearing of Liam (Gray), to give some love to Liam Blue Shine, an alternative to Giorgio Armani Acqua di Giò Profondo. It’s a aromatic, fresh, very citrusy, a bit spicy, salty, and musky scent. A mass appealing, compliments getter, easy to wear juice that it’s perfect for de heat and any occasion, with average projection and longevity (if you spray it heavily on skin and clothing you will get great performance.) I don’t have Profondo to compere them side by side, but Liam Blue Shien it’s a no brainer.
