Day four of my Aromatix X fragrance reviews Today in 7th spot - Aromatix X Teas Me Inspired by Nishane Wulóng Chá From the first spray the opening comes in bright and energetic with lime and ginger, giving the scent a crisp citrus sparkle with a spicy edge that feels lively rather than sharp. There’s also a touch of teak wood underneath that adds a subtle woody smoothness, giving the opening a little more depth than a typical citrus start. As the fragrance settles, the heart begins to reveal its defining character with black tea and cardamom taking centre stage. The tea note gives the scent a slightly bitter, aromatic quality that feels elegant and unique, while cardamom adds warmth and gentle spice. Geranium and hedione soften the composition with a light floral brightness that keeps the tea from feeling too dark or heavy. In the dry down, the fragrance becomes warmer and smoother as amber, frankincense (oilbanum), tonka bean and vanilla form a rich base. The amber gives the scent a soft golden warmth while frankincense adds a resinous smoky depth that keeps the composition interesting. Tonka bean and vanilla round everything out with a creamy sweetness that lingers on the skin without becoming overly gourmand. Performance is solid for this style of fragrance, generally me giving 7–9 hours of longevity with moderate projection, leaving a smooth aromatic trail that feels refined and quietly confident. Overall rating: 7.7/10 To me this is an unusual but addictive blend of fresh citrus, aromatic tea and warm resins, making it a versatile scent that works well in cooler spring days, evenings or anytime you want something that feels sophisticated but still a little intriguing so 7th spot for me because I do think there is better in the line
