Mar 3rd - LIVE Call w/ Gentleman’s Gazette Founder
On Tuesday, March 3rd from 10AM to 11AM, we're bringing in the man himself — Sven Raphael Schneider, founder of Gentleman's Gazette - for a private, no-BS live Q&A. No fashion fluff. No influencer nonsense. Just one of the most respected voices in classic men's style, answering your questions directly. Here's what we're getting into: - The real rules of timeless style - how to look sharp in actual life, not just a photoshoot. - The small details (fit, fabric, proportion, restraint) that instantly signal taste and authority. - The classic style traps that make good guys look like they're wearing a costume. - How to build a wardrobe where everything actually works together. - When to honor tradition — and when to break it with intention. - And Sven's philosophy on why how you dress is a form of respect — for yourself and everyone in the room. If you want that quiet, effortless "this guy clearly knows what he's doing" energy - this is the call! ✅ Premium & VIP members: You're already in. See you there! 👀 Free members: This is your sign. First Niche Buy???
I feel like I built up a solid designer base. I have plenty of options at hand and thinking of buying my first “niche fragrance”. I’m wanting to focus on adding these in based on seasonality, so I am looking at something solid for spring. I don’t have a place locally to try these out that I am aware of so JomaShop seems to be the route to take. I’m eyeing Creed GIT or Etat Libre dOrange You Or Someone Like You. I’m open to PDM Greenly or any advice. Anything spring summer or a solid all year round? I plan on ordering a discovery set or two as well if anyone has recommendations on the best sets there as well.
SOTD: Vetiver + Zest by Michael Malul
11:45 AM – First spray It’s going to be in the 90s today, so I reached for something I hoped would cut through the heat. Zest + Vetiver opens exactly how the name suggests — a bright pop of lemon zest with that aromatic lift from clary sage and basil. There’s a subtle creaminess underneath, and I’m pretty sure that’s the orris root giving it that soft, slightly powdery texture. But almost immediately, I start getting that pencil-shaving dryness from the vetiver. Not green. Not earthy swampy. Dry, clean, slightly sweet vetiver. The kind I like. Projection early on is solid. It feels fresh without being thin. 12:17 PM – Mid phase Now we’re clearly in the heart. The citrus has dialed back. The vetiver is front and center. There’s still some softness from the orris and lavender, but this is turning into a vetiver-driven scent. Still balanced. Still clean. Not sharp. This is that polished vetiver — not Guerlain green grassy vetiver, more in that modern dry direction. 2:51 PM – 3 hours in On skin it’s mostly in the dry down. On clothes, it’s hanging on nicely. The lemon zest is gone. What remains is a woody vetiver with a faint herbal trace from the sage and lavender. Oakmoss adds a slight earthiness, and amber gives just a touch of warmth so it doesn’t feel sterile. This is a very wearable heat fragrance. Clean. Put together. No drama. Overall Impression Citrus ➝ Aromatic ➝ Dry Vetiver Fresh but structured Modern dry vetiver Great for high heat Full bottle worthy for me. This is the kind of vetiver I actually enjoy wearing.
