SOTD: Night Pour Homme II by Zara 28/12/2025
I got two bottles for Christmas this year, first up a Fahrenheit which is being swapped because bless my sisters heart, she can't tell the difference between an edt and a parfum. In her defence I would have been the same 18 months ago. The second was this little beaut, hand picked by my daughter and she paid for it from her own money. She set up a cookie business with a friend and. Sold the lot at a school Christmas Fair. I was super proud of her. It's the first Zara I've gotten in a while and it's rather good. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it's somewhere along the lines of an Invictus Aqua,/YSL Y/Boss Infinite! It starts off with a bright, citrusy, and fresh opening with notes of Bergamot, Grapefruit & perhaps Lemon. Then it quickly progresses into a slightly Spicey heart with warmer aromatic notes of Cardamom, Lavender & Nutmeg. At its base, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Tonka Bean and Musk give a warm, sweet, and comforting dry-down. That classic Amber that you find in so many Zara offerings is the standout and strongest note. As with many of the Zara line, you don't get outstanding performance, but at the price you could hardly expect more. The scents are superb, but you get what you pay for. Four hours on skin is the best you get here. Projection is intimate after the first 40 to 60min. This is a perfect scent for spring/summer but the Amber gives it an edge were it could work year round, it's super versatile and at this price point you can spray it from a garden house. Fact my daughter bought it for me makes it all the more special. My Rating: 7/10 Scent: 3 Longevity: 2 Sillage: 1 Y/N: 1
