Sotd- Makkan Blend By ASQ
Unfortunately discontinued a great floral musk vanilla fragrance with very refine notes a little linear in start but dry down is so amazing. Projection is 2 hours and longevity is almost 12 hours but a nice scent bubble around you until last. A perfect evening wear for outdoor parties.

Sotd- Aradous Perfumes Velvet Patchouli
A perfect Chypre fragrance with smooth lavender and sandalwood opening, in heart a refined Bulgarian rose and at base a aromatic patchouli which has little sharpness in beginning Longevity is 12 hours and projection is 3 to 4 hours as well.

Beautiful bottle and notes breakdown
PDM Layton
Brothers, I’m wearing Layton by Parfums de Marly today, and honestly, this stuff just feels classy. From the first spray, it gives off that smooth, confident vibe without trying too hard. It’s warm, slightly sweet, a little spicy, and incredibly polished. What really stands out to me is how versatile Layton is. It works just as well during the day as it does at night. I could wear this to the office, out to dinner, or even to a formal event and never feel out of place. It has presence, but it’s not loud or obnoxious. People notice it, but in a refined way. Layton feels like the kind of fragrance that fits almost any situation. Dressed up in a blazer? Perfect. Casual jeans and boots? Still works. It has that rare balance where it smells luxurious but also approachable. While I’m wearing it, I feel put together—like my outfit is complete. This is the type of scent that makes you stand a little taller and move with a bit more confidence. To me, Layton isn’t just a fragrance—it’s an easy reach when I want to smell clean, classy, and well put together.

Great review and great fragrance
SOTD: Modern Poet – Michael Malul
Gave Modern Poet a full wear today to see how it develops on my skin. First spray: ~1:44 p.m. Opening (1:44 p.m.): Right away, I’m getting a bitter citrus opening, not a bright or juicy one. It smells more like lemon rind or zest than fresh squeezed citrus. There’s a slight gin-like fizziness, which makes sense given the note breakdown, but it’s not sharp or sparkling. Overall, the opening leans bitter, aromatic, and slightly herbal. ~40 minutes in (around 2:22 p.m.): The citrus has calmed down and the gin and cardamom are more noticeable now. I’m also picking up something that feels sage-like, even though sage isn’t listed. Projection isn’t huge, but there’s a comfortable scent bubble around me. Still pleasant at this stage. Mid phase (around 3:46 p.m.): About two hours in, this fragrance turns very green. All the citrus has disappeared and I’m getting a faint cypress-like woodiness. This is where the green packaging starts to make more sense. The scent is now clearly woody and dry, clean but subdued. Projection drops off quite a bit here. Final drydown (around 7:14 p.m.): By the four-hour mark, this is fully a skin scent. The drydown is completely green and woody, with no citrus left. Pleasant, but understated. This is a nice scent overall, but not something I’d rush out to buy a full bottle of. If someone gifted it to me, I’d happily wear it. Overall: Modern Poet starts off aromatic and bitter-citrus, then transitions into a green, woody drydown. It’s well made and easy to wear, but performance is modest and it stays subtle throughout.
