Second decant from @Thomas Chavez. This one is better than the last in my book. It’s another deceiving name as you’d expect it to be a woody aqautic frag but it’s far from it. I feel like whoever names these might be smoking a bit of the sticky green stuff lol. This starts off fruity with pear and citruses. A very bright and uplifting scent. I was concerned it might lean feminine but sits pretty unisex in the open. Open lasts a pretty long time as the citrus sticks around until you start getting some tangy ginger and a very very soft rose. Idk if it’s just me or what but for some reason I can never pick up on patchouli. The open and mid are a nice mixture of spice and freshness. It’s nowhere near the spice level of Amberful and I think it’s a nice mixture in this one. As it hits the base, the ginger lingers but isn’t as tangy as the amber mellows it out a bit. The amber isn’t strong probably because it’s softened up by some muskiness. So far that’s all I can really detect. The benzoin and incense are non existent to my nose. I can usually pick up incense as I’m not the biggest fan of it. I see a trend with Mancera’s performance as being excellent and this one is no different. I’m 8 hours in and can still smell it pretty good. This one is full bottle worthy and has taken a place on top of Amberful for now.
