WINNER for "The Scent That Started Your Journey" Challenge 🥁🥁
Gents — this challenge was a blast! These stories have been pure gold. Funny, real, nostalgic, and honestly the kind of posts that make this community what it is. Now… for the winner 🥁🥁🥁 🏆 WINNER: @Lon Chaneyfield Lon took us straight back to 1981 — college in upstate New York, right after the disco/rock era — when he wasn’t exactly Mr. Smooth with the ladies. Then there was his buddy David: not the best-looking guy on campus, but somehow he had this magnetism Lon couldn’t explain. At first, Lon thought it was style — so he upgraded the wardrobe (serious Ferris Bueller vibes 😂). But the “it factor” still wasn’t there. Then came the moment that changed everything: On the way to a keg party, David insisted on running back to the dorm for one thing — a little white bottle. Not a clone. Not a random splash. YSL Kouros. Lon could immediately sense the power of it — bold, animalistic, unforgettable — and then watched David’s magnetism in real time at the party. The next morning, Lon made his move: with his brand-new first credit card, he hopped a bus to JCPenney and bought his first cologne for himself. And from there? The rest is basically 80s history. Lon says Kouros became tied to so many peak memories that even today, he doesn’t really wear it out… but at home? One spray and it’s instant time travel. That’s the power of scent right there. @Lon Chaneyfield — love this story! Everyone else: keep those stories coming in the feed! These are the kind of stories that make this community what it is.

Haven't really posted many recent hauls lately just really busy. I decided awhile back I wasn't buying anything without some real quality wears. Since Ive stepped into the Niche world they are just too expensive to blind buy or buy after a first impression. So this weekend I made a trip over to Aura Fragrance and picked up Terre Hermes Eau Givree and Eau Intense Vetiver. Made 5ml decants of these and while they may be designers i really enjoy them and they add something different to my fresh summer line up. Overture Woman was tested back in the early fall and when I saw a full bottle for a great price when I was buying decants to sample i jumped on it. Honestly my favorite Overture. Recently I started into the House of Profumum Roma I own Acqua di Sale, Acqua Viva, Neroli and D'incanto. Like each of these enough i wanted to really get deep into the house. These are Ambra Aurea, Patchouly, Arso, Vir, Fiore dAmbra, Olibanum and Santalum. I wanted to try Ambra Aurea, Arso right away thos two along with Fumidus (which is on the way) are considered some of the best of the house.

Czech and Speake No. 88
Today’s first scent of the snowstorm is Ozzy Osbourne’s signature scent from a house out of London. I will say right now, I should have gotten the big bottle. This opens as a dark, spicy, floral, fougere that is amazing. It definitely seems like something the prince of darkness would wear. The projection screams into the room like a crazy train. It is so strong it may make you a bit paranoid about wearing it, but that scent makes me say I don’t want to stop. The drydown gets a bit more floral, but it does bring to mind an older gentlemen, that is pleasant to be around, but doesn’t really care if you are around him. This lasts all day and I am a huge fan. Definitely one to check out. Stay safe and stay smelling good my brothers.
