Preparing for snow Armageddon here in southern Wisconsin over the next three days. Welcome to March! Well day three of my ATH challenge is here and alphabetically landed on the now named Censored Elixir due to legal naming rights issues. I will just cut to the chase on this beautiful frag and say it’s a 9.9/10. Why not 10/10? It’s just too sweet for a hot summer day unless indoors for me. And the pricing lately is abhorrent. Absolutely office safe and unisex. In fact my twin sister made this her fave of my collection and absconded with her own 10ml from my bottle. 😂 Max aroma has definitely gone up on the pricing for sure in the last year. Yes the cost is prohibitively high and all the numbers I’m seeing currently are around $4-$5 per ml in a 100ml bottle. Thats not attainable for many in the current market. I was lucky to score my current stock when it was slightly better pricing. Supply and demand along with Aaron’s OCD with quality limits what is available. Plus I honestly think it is also a marketing ploy. Over the last two years this house has completely exploded the market. Why???? QUALITY!!!!!! You may not like a certain scent profile(I haven’t found one yet). Though if you’re being honest with yourself you have to agree he creates some of the highest quality frags out there. Personally I’d put him in my top 3 quality level houses out there. What say you brothers???

Got a sample of this as a peace offering after my ScentAddicts subscription this month went a little south. Wasn't really expecting much, although the notes seemed interesting... peppery berry opening into leathery lavender, into vanilla? What the heck is this frag thinking?! After a full wear today... I really like it! There's a spicy juiciness that opens well, but the leathers in the mid are something I'm not really getting. Oddly though, what I AM getting is very intriguing. It's a well-rounded and extremely cosy scent bubble that feels breathless in a weird way. It's almost Blue in its profile, fresh and put together, but as the vanilla sneaks in it definitely changes into something very moreish. I've been wearing it for seven and a half hours now, and it's still sat strong on my skin and in the air, with almost a determined nuttiness at the centre that pushes my gourmand buttons. Once my ScentAddicts subscription woes are cleared, I'll be picking up a decant of this, and if it hits the discounters hard then a full bottle will definitely find a way onto my shelf. Approved!
