Unlike the sugar/aquatic feel of the standard release, Platinum leans hard into green & herbal territory. it feels less like a stadium scent and more like a well‑groomed, modern office‑friendly fragrance. Small detail that matters: the spray mechanism here is miles better than the dribbly atomiser you get on the Victory edition; it gives a fine, even mist rather than globs that just slide down the bottle. The opening hits bright & sharp: juicy, zesty grapefruit leads the way, backed by that distinct bitter‑green kick of absinthe that cuts right through any sweetness before it settles. Within 10–15 minutes, it softens into a crisp heart where mint brings a cool, fresh edge, while lavender adds that familiar aromatic, soapy‑clean vibe that keeps it feeling sharp rather than heavy. The drydown is grounded by cypress — giving it that green, slightly resinous structure — and earthy patchouli that adds just enough depth to stop it from turning thin or watery. I do pick up a faint, almost unplaceable bubblegum‑like sweetness deep in the background, plus a subtle hint of ambroxan that gives it that smooth, modern “clean skin” radiance common in many contemporary designer scents. On my skin, it lasts a solid 5 hours, with decent projection and sillage for the first 2 hours before it pulls in closer and turns into a soft skin scent. It’s one of the most versatile Invictus variants out there — works perfectly in warm or cool weather, office settings, casual days, or evenings out, without ever shouting too loud. If you find the original too sweet or synthetic, or Victory too heavy‑fruity, Platinum hits that sweet spot: it still has the recognisable Invictus DNA but feels refined, balanced, and like a fragrance you won’t get sick of after a few wears.

Mavro sits in the same general vein as fragrances like Bvlgari Tygar and Sospiro Vibrato, but with its own twist. It has that modern luxury feel, smooth woods, musks, and a refined freshness, but Mavro takes a darker, richer direction with more depth and warmth. What I like most is that it feels expensive without being overly challenging. The woods are smooth, the sweetness is controlled, and there is enough darkness to make it interesting without becoming heavy. It smells polished, masculine, and confident. Performance is very good on my skin. It projects well for the first few hours and lasts all day. While it leans more dressed up than Tygar, it can absolutely be worn casually if you keep the sprays light—around 2 to 3 sprays is plenty. The main difference is that Tygar and Vibrato are brighter, more sparkling, and citrus-driven, while Mavro adds a darker woody-amber character that gives it a more sophisticated and slightly mysterious feel. If I had a criticism, it is not the most groundbreaking fragrance. It works within a familiar luxury fresh-woody style rather than creating something completely new. But it executes that style very well. Rating: 8.5/10 Mavro is like Tygar and Vibrato’s darker cousin. It keeps that upscale fresh luxury DNA but adds richer woods, more depth, and a touch of darkness. It smells smooth, masculine, and expensive without trying too hard. #sotd... Iris Raspberry by Primera Perfumes... Being the Iris lover I am, when I came across this fragrance, I had to get it. I was able to secure a 30ml sample. Well, let me say this now, if you are a fan of the Powdery Iris note, you will love this. Not so much the lipstick vibe type of Iris but definitely the powderiness. Add the sweet fruitiness of the Raspberry and there you have it, a very pleasing and captivating scent. Add the Iso E Super and Woody notes for some depth. The other notes seem to be there to support the two main notes. Violet, Musk, and Orris gives depth help to the Iris while the Floral Fruity notes, vanilla, and Amber all help with the Raspberry. From start to finish with the fragrance all I get is a sweet fruity Powdery Iris scent. No big changes, which for me, I really enjoy.This fragrance is not a huge projector but it definitely has longevity to it. It will leave a nice sillage as you walk by. I went more than 10 hours while picking it up on me in a close bubble. I give this a 10 out of 10. I will be getting a full 100mls bottle.
