#sotd... Armani Code Elixir by Giorgio Armani... I you are someone who likes and enjoy the animalic scent, then this one is for you. I personally do not like the animalic smell so this review is a little tough for me. Code Elixir takes the Code DNA and transforms it into a darker and more richer scent. This opens with a touch of citrus that fades really quick. This is where the animalic leather scent comes into play and takes over. Now really deep into the dry down as it becomes more of a skin scent, the animalic smell does fade. Still super strong on my shirt though. As for performance, this has good overall performance. At the 8 hour mark, it was still strong on my shirt. More of a skin scent on me. I did not refresh because I didn't want to battle the animalic smell all over again. Honestly, I am going to rate this an 8 out of 10. I can enjoy this for what it is. Am I going to reach for it, probably not!

#sotd... Armani Code EDT by Giorgio Armani... This opens with a quick burst of citrus that fades fast into a Nicely done Lavender scent before closing out with a base of Tonka Bean and Cedar. The mid has a nice aromatic scent. While the dry down brings a smooth woodsiness mixing a little sweetness into it. Okay projection for a little over an hour before it starts to mellow out into a more intimate scent. Extremely office safe. Not a loud fragrance by any means. I went 5 hours before refreshing. I like the scent, just wish it performed better. But, sometimes it is better to have a fragrance with moderate longevity. I give this a 8.5 out of 10.

#sotd... Fling by Fragrance Story... Fling is a warm, sweet, and masculine fragrance. Opens with a sweet fruity scent that fades into a warm sweet very light spiciness before a very light leather note finishes it off. The leather in this is very light but blended very well with the sweet notes. This fragrance would be great in the cooler weather. I will revisit in a few months. For now, I give it a 8 out of 10. Not a real strong overall performance. Decent projection in the beginning. I ended up refreshing at the 5 hour mark.

#sotd... Envy by Fragrance Story... Envy opens with a citrus scent featuring Bergamot, Mandarin and Neroli. I pickup on the tea note in the mid that is giving it a green crispness to it. A clean musk and Sandalwood gives the dry down a smooth and velvety finish. Decent overall performance. I went 8 hours before refreshing. To me, Envy has a similar DNA as Himalaya by Creed. I give this an 8.5 out of 10.

#sotd... Terra Nova by Michael Malul & Gent Scents... Another recently discontinued fragrance by Michael Malul. Terra Nova is a great Fragrance. Same DNA as Bvlgari Tygar and Turathi Blue but much more calm... This has good projection for the first hour or so before it starts to become more intimate. Not room filling or anything but still decent. Longevity is about 6 hours. Definitely office safe for sure. I give this a 8.5 out of 10.
