#sotd... Drakkar Bleu by Guy Laroche... So this is an update review. Drakkar Bleu has been sitting for 10 months now with hopes of it improving in the performance category. I absolutely love the scent profile on this. So, my verdict after the 10 months of sitting! Nothing has changed! So disappointing... Still a great scent but with only 4 hours of performance. Sometimes the short longevity is all you need. Super fresh and clean fragrance. The spearmint and Bergamot together gives it an excellent fresh spiciness. Even with poor performance I give this a 9 out of 10 for the scent profile itself plus cheap enough to keep reapplying when needed.

#sotd... Seasons Drift by Riiffs... This is an Citrusy Amber fragrance. Opens with a touch of citrus before going into a slight spicy ginger feel with a little herbal to it. The dry down brings a smooth woodsiness with a little bit of sweetness. Decent projection in the beginning. I went 7 hours before refreshing. I am giving this a 7 out of 10 for now. Has the potential to be rated higher. Hoping some maceration will help it.

#sotd... Night De Paris Ouranos by L'Orientale Fragrances... This starts off with a crisp citrus scent with a little undertone of floral notes. The mid welcomes a nice dose of ginger and adding a smooth powdery note as well. Ouranos closes out on a dry woody scent. Good performance overall from this. I got 9 hours of wear. I am giving this a 9.5 out of 10.

#sotd...Night De Paris ERIS by L'Orientale Fragrances... Very nice quality presentation. Heavy bottle and cap. ERIS is in the Amber woody fragrance family. Opens with a fruity citrus scent that moves into a soft floral mid. The dry down brings on an Amber, woody, musky finish. Still remaining fresh throughout the wear. I went 6 hours before refreshing. I give this a 8 out of 10.

#sotd... Lamar by Kajal... I haven't reached for Lamar in over a year. Not sure if it is me or the fragrance, but this thing has become a beast. I remember the last time I wore it, I was getting about 8 hours from it and I wasn't a big fan of the smell. I know it leans a tad bit more feminine because of the floral notes in the mid. But so.ething has changed. Either my sense of smell or the fragrance. I do know that both can happen over time, but Lamar is now one of my top fragrances after wearing it today. The opening is a sweet fruity scent that does change in the mid to a floral fragrance. But as the dry down kicks in, it changes again to a smooth powdery woodsy scent. I am approaching 12 hours and I still have not refreshed. Excellent projection with excellent longevity to go along with 3 different layers of scents. That is the definition of beast mode. This is a 10 out of 10 for me now. Time and patience sometime is worth the wait.
