Cedar in Acacia by Scents of Wood review
#sotd... Cedar in Acacia by Scents of Wood... This is my first love from the house of Scents Of Wood. Cedar In Acacia is a warm, resinous, and woody fragrance. This has a touch of freshness, spiciness, powderiness, and woodsiness all in one. From start to finish, I am absolutely obsessed with this scent profile. To me, this is a masterpiece that I will always have in my collection. The sad news is that this is being discontinued. I have secured 2 backup bottles for myself. As for performance? This has good projection and great longevity. I have been able to push this to the 10 hour mark before refreshing. This is an easy 10 out of 10 for me. If I had my way, this would be a fragrance that I would keep in production.

Iris in 2026
Valentino Uomo intense discontinued. Prada L'homme intense discontinued. Dior's homme line has been reformulated, and Prada L'homme EDT is impossible to find for at least few months. Im currently comparing Dior's Homme Intense 2025 to Givenchy's Gentleman Réserve Privée and the Givenchy is the clear winner, IMHO. (Although its only been 45 mins since spraying) Given the current market conditions, whats your recommended Iris scent? Is there anything better than Réserve Privée? (Cause its pretty darn good!)

Another Iris lover here. I honestly haven't come across a fragrance that has Iris in it that I do not like. ESPIRÍTU by House of Bo is really good. One of my favorites. One that I have been trying to find for the past 6 months is Purple Rain by Prada.
Dior Homme Sport 2021 by Dior review
#sotd... Dior Homme Sport 2021 by Dior... This is a spicy woody fragrance. Dior took this version into a whole different direction than your normal Dior Homme line by removing the powdery Iris and focus more on a sharp citrus and that is blended with some woodsiness. The opening hits you with a bright and zesty citrus scent before transitioning into a sharp spiciness. The dry down is sophisticated and woody making this a versatile fragrance. Good projection for the first few hours. Great longevity for a EDT as I went 7 hours before refreshing. I give this a solid 8.5 out of 10.

Terre D'Hermès EDT by Hermès review
#sotd... Terre D'Hermès EDT by Hermès. So I held off for a long while before deciding to pull the trigger on this one. I am glad I finally bought it. Terre D'Hermès is no joke. I was actually blown away. I love the old school barbershop vibe with a more modern touch to it. This definitely demands attention without being over barring. Opens bright and zesty before the spiciness kicks in being accompanied by a mineral note in the mid. The dry down has a masculine foundation of vetiver, cedar, Patchouli, and benzoin. Decent projection for the first hour or so. Good longevity as I went 7 hours before refreshing. I believe this is one of those fragrances that you can reach for anytime and for any occasion. One of those scents that you can not go wrong with. I give this a 9.5 out of 10....

Mr Carter by Thomson Carter review
#sotd... Mr Carter by Thomson Carter... Thomson Carter is a Niche British Fragrance House based out of the UK created in 2023. Mr Carter is one of thier most recent releases that was released this year, 2026. This is a clean Mineral fragrance. Opens with a bright, mineral clean skin feel. The mid brings a green, earthy, and slightly smokeiness. The dry down settles into a clean sweetness to stays close to the skin. Not a room filling projection but it does leave a good scent trail. Very good longevity as I went 9 hours before refreshing and at that point, it was pretty much a skin scent. This is a 10 out of 10 for me. This is my first from the brand and it will not be my last. As a blind buy for me, Mr Carter is a huge win....
