#sotd... Lalique Pour Homme Equus by Lalique... This is a classic, sophisticated, woody aromatic fougère fragrance carrying that old school barbershop feel to it. This opens with bright, green, and sharp herbal feel to it. I picked up a soft spiciness as it started to go into the mid. As the dry down sets in, you'll get a smooth creamy woody base. As for performance, this isn't anything that is going to stand out. I'd say moderate at the best. Not a strong projector but I was able to go 8 hours before refreshing. I enjoy this fragrance especially at the price point. I give this a 8.5 out of 10.

#sotd... Devotion Pour Homme EDP by Dolce&Gabbana... This opens with a sharp burst of lemon that doesn't last too long before the coffee accord takes over. For the next 4 or 5 hours, it is basically a coffee fragrance for me. However, after the coffee has its way with this fragrance, the dry down kicks in and for me personally, that is where it gets better. It moves from a dark roasted coffee into a clean, green Patchouli scent. I do pick up a whiff here and there of a chocolatey undertone. I have mixed feelings about this fragrance because I am not a big coffee person. But, the dry down is what intrigues me. Only reason I refreshed. Good performance. Not a huge projection from it but it does have good longevity. I went 9 hours on my skin. I give this an 8 out of 10. If you are a coffee person, this is probably going to be higher on your list.

#sotd... XJ 1861 Renaissance by Xerjoff... This is a citrus aromatic summer fragrance that blends Italian citrus with a refreshing cooling green heart. Renaissance opens with a bright, crisp citrus scent before transitioning smoothly into a cool, Mojito like clean smell almost becoming soapy. The dry down brings on a smooth, warm woodsiness to round out this summer masterpiece. This is a summer beast providing outstanding overall performance. Very good projection for the first few hours with beast mode longevity for a fresh fragrance. I went 9 hours before refreshing and at that time, I could still smell it on my clothes. I give this a 9.5 out of 10.

#sotd... Moonlight in Heaven by Kilian... This is part of Kilians Fresh Collection that is an aromatic fruity fragrance. It has a zesty bright opening that moves into a creamy exotic mid before settling into a warm base. Not a strong performance but okay longevity. More of an intimate scent. At the 5 hour mark it was pretty much just a skin scent. A little disappointing for the price point but it is a nice scent. Definitely high quality. I give this a 7 out of 10. Performance is the only holding this back.

#sotd... DesirToxic by M. Micallef... This was the first fragrance I came across with the note of Cannabis in it. DesirToxic is a sweet, spicy, woodsy fragrance. The opening gi es you a burst of citrus and some sharp spiciness. The mid welcomes in a creamy, slight sweet warmth. The Cannabis note in it does not come across as being smokey or skunky smell. It actually provides a unique green herbal feel to it. That is what makes this a different type of scent. Think of it as a more mysterious smell. As for performance..... This has amazing overall performance. Great projection and outstanding longevity. I could still smell it at the 10 hour mark. No need to refresh with this. I do not think this is for everyone. If you are wanting something different, this is it....For me, I give this a 10 out of 10... Not blind buy safe for sure.
