From the first spray I get a bright, spicy burst of saffron, ginger and citrusy mandarin, giving it an energetic and slightly sparkling opening. Very quickly the scent turns richer as amberwood and rosepush forward, creating that warm, sweet-amber glow that this fragrance is known for. The jasmineadds a smooth floral touch while patchouli subtly deepens the composition so it never feels overly sugary. As it settles, the base of vanilla, sandalwood and white musk wraps everything in a creamy, slightly powdery warmth that lasts for hours. It’s bold, luxurious and extremely noticeable without feeling harsh. Projection is strong for the first few hours and the longevity is excellent, easily pushing 7+ hours on skin. Overall rating 6.8/10 I wasn’t completely blown away by this fragrance. It’s clearly well-hyped and has mass appeal, but it didn’t capture my attention in the same way that Mancera French Riviera, Mancera Cedrat Boise, or Mancera Amore Caffè did. That said, it’s still a pleasant scent and I can understand why many people enjoy it. For me personally, it didn’t quite reach the level where I’d consider purchasing a full bottle. The floral elements may simply not align with my tastes, which could explain why it didn’t resonate as strongly as some other releases from the brand. It’s possible that a second wearing might change my perspective, as fragrances can reveal more over time. For now though, I’m happy to stick with the sample rather than committing to a full bottle.
