Collection Update 2026
I've been stuck at home for the last 4 days with the winter storm, and I've been using the time to do some much-needed chores and cleaning around the house. One of those chores was to update the shelving for my collection. It's grown beyond the closet shelves, so I got a little bookshelf to move some into my bedroom. The bedroom shelf has now become my display with the perfumes that I actually use and enjoy the most, and the closet is now the archive with fragrances that get less use. Most of these I will eventually give away, sell, or donate in an effort to make space. The goal is to have the bedroom shelf be the limiting factor. If it doesn't go there, then I don't need it. I have yet to purchase anything beyond a decant for 2026, but I am getting a bunch of new stuff from the press agency to photograph and review. So far, it's mostly women's perfumes like Idole Peach 'N Rose, or it's Middle Eastern brands that I've never seen before. Those items have gotten out of control, and I am struggling to figure out what to do with them. Anyway, here's my update shelving, minus the press items, which are in boxes in my guest closet.

SOTD: THE Most Wanted parfum by Azzaro
After Spicebomb, this was an early favourite of mine, so far it's still the best release in the entire Wanted line. It was created by Michel Girard, Nadùge Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu and Roxanne Kirkpatrick and released in 2022. While the earlier Eau de Parfum (EDP) Intense focused on a playful "toffee" sweetness, the Parfum shifts toward a darker, spicier, and more refined woodiness. The scent is officially built on a minimalist three-note structure, though it feels far more complex in practice: It opens with Red Ginger, which gives a sharp, fiery, and slightly citrusy opening. It’s less fizzy than typical ginger and more warm-spicy. At its heart, you will findI ncandescent Woods. As the ginger fades, a dense, smoky woodiness takes over. It gives the fragrance a glowing charcoal vibe. But the star of the show is found at the base. One the best drydowns I've come across for this style of fragrance. Bourbon Vanilla, a high-quality, balsamic vanilla/creamy and sweet, but not "cupcake" sweet. It’s more reminiscent of an expensive aged spirit. The Parfum concentration lives up to its name, trading loud "room-filling" projection for steady, long-lasting presence. Performance on this is huge, a whopping 8 hours on the skin, On clothes, it can easily last until the next laundry day, with strong projection that can easily fill a room, and the sillage ensures a good scent trail is left behind. Yes definitly my favourite of the Wanted line to date. And an all time Winter legend. My Rating 9/10 Scent 3 Longevity 2.5 Sillage 2.5 Y/N 1
